Sasuke and Yugito had been dating for a few weeks now. As the weeks passed by, he got to know the girl Naruto liked. He learned more about Naruto and how the two of them met. Apparently, Naruto helped her get her part time job at the restaurant owned by the brother of Naruto's boss at the coffee shop he was working. According to the her, she met Naruto when the latter tried to defend her from the guys who tried to hit on her.
He had known Naruto for quite some time and never bothered to ask about him nor his life. He just learned that Naruto is living alone in a small apartment. He was raised in an orphanage and ran off when he entered middle school. He got accepted at Konoha High through his uncle Izuna's recommendation to apply for a scholarship which he passed with flying colors. Naruto study at day and work part time on the coffee shop after school. At night, he sometimes work as a babysitter. He also learned that their sensei, Iruka would often visit the blonde to check on him.
The more he learn about Naruto, the more he wondered how the obnoxious blonde smiles so brightly everyday despite of what he is going through. He tried to get closer to Naruto but because of him and Yugito going out, the blonde is obviously avoiding them.
Sasuke couldn't deny to himself that he missed the blonde dobe. He's starting to regret what he did in order to separate Yugito and Naruto for it back fired on him.
He's on his way to the roof top with Yugito. The girl decided to come along with him to greet his friends. He didn't care and so she let him. He was surprised to see Naruto talking to Sakura and they
seem to be having a good time. It was nice to hear the laughing blonde. He missed his voice, his smile and laughs so much.
" Look who the cat dragged?" Kiba said looking at the two new people approaching them.
Naruto stop laughing and look at what Kiba was referring to. He saw the couple approaching. He quickly check his watch and told the others that he had to go as it's time for his duties at the library. Everyone knows that he was avoiding the couple. It all started when the news about Sasuke dating Yugito spread in their school. They haven't seen the blonde and the raven together since then. When they all gathered together at the roof top of their building, Naruto would either ditch them or will always make excuses about school activities or duties to leave just before Sasuke would come over.
Naruto walk passed Sasuke and Yugito but stop when the girl hold his hands and called him.
" I'm in a hurry, it's almost time. I need to go to the library." he said as an excuse.
The girl stared at the azure eyes that looks at her blankly. She hesitantly release him from her hold. She smiled and said, "I'll see you around then".
Naruto just continued walking not looking back. He needed to get out of the place as soon as possible. The last thing he want to happen is to cross paths with the couple whom he have been avoiding for the past weeks.
His phone rang and hand shakes after seeing who was calling. He hesitantly answered, " Yes?"
" You dare leave just like that." a monotone voice said.
" I have to go to the library" he responded.
" Come to my house " the other responded which was more of an order than a request.
