Thirty - A step away from the truth

Sasuke and Sachi arrived at the Hyuga's residence. Sasuke stepped out of the car first and went to the kid's side who was sitting at the back seat. "We're here" he announced.

Sachi stepped out of the car and hold his uncle's hand to walk with him at the entrance. Sasuke had a faint smile on his face on the kid's gesture. Knowing that despite the excitement the kid felt, he is nervous to be around the crowd he barely knew. He looked at him and said, " Scared?" he teasingly asked the little one. Sachi shook his head in an unsure manner which was obvious as he bite his lower lip when he did that.

Hinata was the first one to notice Sasuke and she approached him. Later did she realize that Sasuke has company which was now hiding behind his back.

"I'm glad you made it Sasuke. Thanks for coming." she said.

Sasuke only responded " Hn". When their friends noticed his arrival, they approached him. Kiba being the loud-mouth he is, greets Sasuke with matching a hug and a bump. When he notice something or rather someone was at his friend's back he said, "I see you brought company".

Kiba had an idea who the kid might be but as it seems that the kid is shy he then said, " Hey, kiddo. I'm glad to see you here. Kihana would be happy to meet you." Kiba called his daughter to come to them and introduce her to Naruto's child.

"Sweetheart, Sasuke brought company to celebrate your birthday. Why not introduce yourself?." Hinata said to her daughter.

She's wearing a light purple knee length dress. Her long dark blue hair tied in a pony-tail. Her eyes matching her mother's and her complexion is of her father's.

" Hello uncle Sasuke. Hello there. I'm Kihana. What's your name?" the kid asked Sachi.

"Come on now, Sachi. Introduce yourself. "Sasuke said to his nephew.

Although shy, Sachi slightly revealed himself and saw the pretty girl. He introduce himself, " Hello, I'm Uchiha, Sachi. Happy Birthday." he greeted her with a blinding smile.

The little girl returned his smile and ask him to join her with the other kids to play to which Sachi has agreed after gaining a nod from Sasuke as approval.

The party was held at the residence garden. It's a simple celebration though. There are only few kids present and most were adults. This is because most of Kihana's friends live in Australia.

Sachi and Kihana played with the other kids and at a short period of time you would hear him laugh. Something not only Sasuke but other adults look at Sachi in awe.

" How did you manage to convince Naruto to bring his child over here?." Kiba asked.

" I never had to convince anyone." Sasuke's reply.

Kiba didn't push the topic. He just think that maybe because Karin and Suigetsu will be coming over that's why Naruto's child is present. He heard how close the kid is to his band mates.

Later on, Karin arrived with Suigetsu. Naruto had already called him about Sasuke bringing Sachi along at the Hyuga's.

" I've heard from Naruto that Sachi's here?" Karin asked Sasuke.

Sasuke looked at the kid's direction and called for him. When Sachi heard Sasuke called for him and saw his Aunt and Uncle, he excused himself to the other kids and went to his aunt and uncles. He hugged and kissed both of them after greeting them and returned to his new found friends.

She smiled as she watch him play with the rest of the kids. It left her thinking why Sasuke would agree to babysit his nephew but was glad he did seeing Sachi's happy face.
