Three - How We Met

Deidara's Point of view

It's rare for Naruto to call him Babe which only happens if he's mad , has something in mind that he wants his full attention or simply wanting a favor. Regardless, his heart always feels warm whenever Naruto is like that to him or to the rest of the gang because he knows that once Naruto calls you by a nickname or with endearment, it means that you are important or somehow special to him.

He still remembers how the two of them met. Despite of them not being related by blood, he consider Naruto as his younger brother hence being protective to him and Naruto's son.

He was looking for some ingridients he needed for the pasta he'll be cooking for dinner located at the fruits and vegetable area in the super- market. He bumped into a child who happen to be searching for something.

The kid has pale skin, long jet black hair who is tied in a low pony tail with the set of onyx eyes. The child is handsome. What caught his attention was how the kid look seriuos and lips almost pouting while looking at the tomatoes in front of him. "Wait, tomatoes? How does picking one make him look all worked up." Deidara thought.

It appears as though the little tyke was having a hard time picking which tomato he wants, the big one or the small one .

Out of curiosity, he ask the child . " Did you decide which one to get, hn?"

After some thought, the child chose the big ones and look up with a big smile on his face while holding the tomato on his hands and said " Look! Chichi, doesn't it look delicious?!" asked the little one.

Realizing it wasn't his father who asked him. The kid look side by side only to see his father wasn't present at his side. The kid knew better than to cry, after all, he doesnt want to repeat the incident where he made his father all nervous and scared when they once went to an amusement park. He went to buy an ice cream on his own without telling his father.

Deidara observe the child, his head hang low, eyes starting to get watery from thinking what to do however from the almost crying face the kid's face started to be serious and after a few seconds the kid ask him .

"Do you know where the customer service is?!. Deidara despite being surprised, pointed at the direction where the large sign " Customer Service" is located which is four blocks away from where they are.

The kid followed his pointer finger and said thanks to him and start walking heading to the customer service section.

He watch how the kid tries to get the attention of the woman in charge. He could hear how the child calls and waive for the woman to notice him who was busy typing in front of her computer.

Since the desk is too high for the kid to be notice, all of his effort failed. Deidara then decided to go and help the child.

" Excuse me, I think this child is looking for his father. " Deidara said to the woman in charge and winked at the child who was then looking at him and contemplating if he is a he or a she. The child settled on the latter.

Deidara bow down to make eye contact with the child and ask, "What's your name , kiddo?. The little one answered back, "I'm not suppose to talk to strangers. That's what my father always says".

Deidara raised his brow at the kid's tone but was amused with the way the kid answered him.

"But ofcourse! however , we wont be able to help you find your father if we don't give them your name and your dad's, Deidara explained".

" Hn.. Fine then, I'm Sachi and my father's name is Na-." Just before the child finished his sentence , Naruto called out "Sachi! where have you been, sweetheart? I was so worried when you suddenly disappear.

"I was searching for you practically everywhere but couldn't find you. I was so scared that I may have lost you. Thank God, you're alright" . Naruto ranted then kiss and hug his son while saying his thanks to the heavens for keeping his son safe and sound.

"Chichi, you're crushing me. " the child complained but was very happy to finally found his father.

"See, I'm alright, ! Thanks to this beautiful lady, " Sachi said pointing at Deidara who was rejoicing inside being called beautiful not minding that the kid called him a lady.😊😆

Naruto then noticed the person next to his son. Fascinated with the person's long and shiny blonde hair and his blue eyes, he said his thanks. " Oh, no, I didn't do anything but talk to him". Deidara said.

"He talked to you!?, Naruto said surprised knowing his son doesn't really interact with anybody aside from him. " Oh, forgive me. It's just that my son never really talks to anyone other than me". Naruto explained.

Deidara laugh and said " I figured as much".

The name's Deidara and you are? - " Naruto, Uzumaki Naruto" he replied and extended his arm for a shake hands. And the rest is history.😊
