Sixteen - Memento

" Hurry up Teme, it's going to start soon " said the hyperactive blonde to his friend.

He's holding the raven-haired boy on his arms while he drag him to walk fast. They agreed to watch the fireworks at the blonde's favorite spot in the city which is the park.

" If you are in such a hurry, why don't you just go on first instead of dragging me," suggested by his friend.

"Fine then, but don't you dare ditch on me, yah hear?", said the blonde.

The raven just "Hn" as he look at the back of his blonde friend. When all of a sudden he tipped, sending his face to meet the grass.

" Tch" his friend come closer and check on him. " Are you alright?".

" Uhm, yeah" the blonde said embarrassed.  The wind blows and it sent shivers down his spine causing him to fidget due to it's coldness.

" Dobe " his friend said. He took off his scarf from his neck and wrap it to the blonde's neck. This surprised the blonde but he smiled.

" Chi.."

" Chichi.."

He woke up from his dream from the tap on his face. Blue eyes met black. " Sachi, honey. What are you doing here?" he asked while hugging his pillow.

"I'd been trying to wake you up now for five minutes", his child complained.

" Oh, is that so? " Naruto said. He closed his eyes again.

" Chichi!" his child yelled to his ears making him shut open his eyes and immediately touch his ears and sat up.

" What do you want, honey?" he asked his index finger in his ear trying to soothe it. He wonders why his son was wearing a red pollo, jeans and a snickers. As to answer him his child spoke,

" You promise to take me to the carnival, don't tell me you forgot " Sachi said his arms in his chest glaring at his father.

" Oh, right! " Naruto asked, scratching his whiskered cheek awkwardly smiling to his son. He doesn't want his son to figure out he'd forgotten but failing.

" Ofcourse not" he said poking his son's forehead. " Give Chichi fifteen minutes. Wait for me downstairs, okay? he said and kissed him. The child nod and left his room.

It took him three minutes before he got off the bed. He thought about his dream and said, " Again? ". He's been having the same dream for the past weeks now but couldn't make out who was the other person in his dream as the image of the boy is blurred.

He then went to the bathroom to fix himself quickly. After the promised time, he's all set and ready to go. They'll have a father and son bonding at the carnival.

Mikoto called Naruto yesterday and asked him to visit her at their manor with her grandson. Since they have a father and son bonding he promised to bring Sachi the next day.
