Fluffy white clouds dotted the azure blue sky as morning dew clung on to lush green leaves for their dear lives and birds chirped happily, singing their songs and flying freely in the vast blue sky.
Evie stirred in her bed while her eyes fluttered open, and events of the past night came flooding back, leaving her confused about how she got to bed, before she figured out how Doug had probably gotten her back to her dorm.
He didnt look like it, but he was quite strong. You had to be, right? If you had spent alot of your childhood helping your father and uncles in mines pushing heavy minecarts full of precious stones and not to mention the mining. Evie's cheeks went pink just thinking about Doug carrying her, though it was mixed with some embarrassment too. She always slept like Aurora, something her mother was never proud of. What if she snored in her sleep?
Sitting up, Evie stretched and looked at Mal, who was slightly snoring at her side of the room. The descendant of Maleficent would be demanding details of the date later. She wasnt that girly and didnt squeal and gossip with Evie, Audrey, Jane and Lonnie, but she did care about her best friend.
Evie smiled and got out of bed to change as she was still in her dress from the previous night. After getting ready for the day, she woke Mal, who was a heavy sleeper, up and both went to breakfast together after Mal got ready.
