Telling Dizzy: 1

The next morning, Doug and Evie set off to Dizzy's.

The 17 year old had recently moved from Cinderella's Castle to Evie and Mal's old apartment and she had a job running a hair salon on the 5th level of the Evie's 4 Hearts main building.

"Ding Dong!" The standard bell rang and the door of the apartment was flung open, revealing a teenage Dizzy. Her looks had changed and she swapped her old outfits for cleaner ones. They still had the same colour scheme, but the style had changed and so did the hair. The pigtails had been ditched for long wavy curls.

"EVIE! DOUG!" Dizzy exclaimed loudly and hugged Doug and Evie in her usual merry demeanour.

Evie grinned widely when they pulled apart. "I missed you, Dizzy!"

As Doug headed to the kitchen to grab Evie some water, both Evie and Dizzy sat down at the couch, chit chatting about all sorts of stuff.

Doug sat down next to Evie after a while, passing her the water which she accepted graciously.

Doug and Evie shared a look and Evie took a deep breath, taking Dizzy's hands in hers.

"Dizzy," Evie started and Doug nodded. "We have something to tell you."

"Yes?" She asked, her hyper behaviour still present.

Evie gave Doug a worried look and Doug put his hands on her shoulders, rubbing them reassuringly.

"Well... Evie is..." Doug said, "She's pregnant."

Dizzy squealed. It was so loud and shrill that Evie could swear that Lady Tremaine could hear it and would scream at Dizzy to shut up.

"Omg!" Dizzy yelled, flinging her arms around Evie tightly, but still minding the baby. "How far are you along? Do you know the gender? What's the name? When will it be born? I cant wait! Are you excited? Omg I-" Dizzy ranted on excitedly.

Evie grinned and hugged Dizzy. "Im 21 weeks, its a girl, we havent though of the name, i cant remember when the due date is, and duh im excited!"

Dizzy squealed again and engulfed Evie in a hug, before going on to rant about how excited she was. Doug chuckled as both Dizzy and his beloved chatted, the enthusiastic atmosphere never wavering.
