Epilogue

Evie smiled as she watched Quinn embrace Ari and Bree (Aubrey), her all time best friends.

It was the little girl's fourth birthday party, and it was a big deal, as usual. Quinn had grown the mentality that bigger was better, after a meeting with her grandmother, the Evil Queen, through the internet, something both her parents were not happy about.

Ian and Jack came running into the air conditioned function room, all sweaty with a ball in Jack's arms as Mal, Ben, Lonnie and Jay filed in.

Mal was holding a 2 year old Atalie Beth, her and Ben's miracle baby after they were told they could not have kids after Stella's complications.

Theo, or Theodore Elijah, Evie and Doug's 2 year old, had come running in at the sight of his friend with Jay and Lonnie's 2 year old, Lilly, or when in trouble, Lilliana Jade Jayden.

Later, Carlos and Jane arrived, with their shy 2 year old, LucyAnn Grace, nicknamed Lou, along with the foetus in Jane's swollen belly, Liam.

Evie grinned as she congratulated Jane again, sympathising with her pains as she, too, would be expecting her and Doug's 3rd child, Titus Everett, soon.

Evie was jolted out of her thoughts by Doug, with his arms around her affectionately. "Hey," he grinned, "Stop daydreaming, Princess. It's time to cut the cake."

Quinn had run up to her parents, dragging them toward the huge chocolate cake that sent everyone drooling, to take pictures, as Theo swiped a huge finger full of icing, sending it towards his mouth, earning a yell from his older sister as their parents laughed.

Evie and Doug smiled to each other. To think, after all these years and many more to come, she would still be their little Quinn, the one they'd welcomed on this very day, 5 exciting years ago.
