Lilith couldn't help but feel a little deja-vu when she woke a little while later. Her white hair was flying in all sorts of directions and the wind swept across her face quickly. Someone was running, with her in their arms, but who?

Lilith groaned softly, her head pounding against her skull as the memory of what happened just 30 minutes before grew fresh in her mind. Opening her bright green eyes, Lilith looked around, squinting a little before looking up at Dallas, the gorgeous man carrying her in his arms.

"Y-You can put me down now, I can walk, I'm okay..." She said softly, her cheeks turning a bright red in embarrassment. Dallas looked down at her, surprised and relieved that she was awake, and nodded. Slowly coming to a stop, he gently placed her down on her feet, holding her arms to help steady her.

"Are you-" He started but Lilith cut him off with a simple nod, rubbing her temples.

"Yes, I'm fine." She mumbled softly as she pulled away from his hold and began walking in the direction he was running. She heard a soft sigh come from behind her before Dallas slowly fell in step beside her.

Most of the walk was silent, none of them talking or making a sound. Just listening to the sounds of the night surrounding them. After a while, Dallas finally spoke up, startling her a little.

"What did you see?" He asked, glancing at her. She bit her lip, staying quiet for a while before glancing at him as well.

"Nothing much honestly, I more heard it than seen it. But it wasn't the first encounter I've had with it." She said softly, chills running up her spine at the thought of those golden eyes.

"All I seen were eyes. Bright, gold eyes. And every time I seen them, they stared right at me, as if I was it's target from the beginning." Lilith's hands moved to her upper arms, rubbing them lightly as to keep warm as she kept her eyes strained in front of her, too scared to look through the trees around her. She was slightly surprised when she heard Dallas curse softly beside her, and Lilith couldn't help but look at him.

"What? What's wrong?" She asked, worry laced through her voice. He shook his head and walked a little faster. Not wanting what happened earlier to repeat itself, she too walked faster, despite the fact that her legs were shorter than his, therefore it was harder.

It seemed like forever before they finally arrived at the camp. There were still some camp members and leaders walking around, talking and laughing, which means they made it before curfew. As they walked through the camp towards her cabin, Lilith couldn't help but notice how tense and silent Dallas had gotten since they walked into the camp. Biting her lip, she looked around and noticed the few campers passing by gave him dirty looks. There were some that didn't even look at him, as if it were bad to look at him. Lilith couldn't help but get angry at this, her fists balling at her sides. Before she could say anything though, Dallas stopped in front of her, causing her to bump into his back. Squealing lightly, she blinked before quickly stepping back.

"Sorry I didn't know you stopped." She said softly, laughing a little as she looked up at him. Her laugh seemed to draw a small smile out of him, and she couldn't help but smile back.

"We're here. I think your parents are worried about you though, so you should hurry inside." He said, stepping to the side to reveal her cabin. Nodding, she moved up to the door, before stopping and turning around just as he began walking away.

"Hey, Dallas." She called, causing him to stop in his steps and turn to look at her. She offered him a bright smile as he did so.

"Thank you." She said and waved, before walking inside her cabin and closing the door behind her. As soon as she did so, her mother appeared right in front of her, nearly making Lilith jump out of her skin.
