It stings

"Come on" he says to me when I look down and get some socks on, we walk down the stairs and I see Ronny eating with Deaton as he reads the news paper.

"Morning sweetie" Deaton says as I sit next to him and smile, Ronny was so focused in eating that he didn't say a word.

"James is coming over today, he wants to check on you" Deaton says to me, I nod my head and swallow hard, Conner sits next to me and hands a plate I thank him as I begin to eat, I feel a little sick but I push it aside since the little guy needed to eat.

"Thought of a name yet?"

"I don't know about names but I'm thinking of Miles for a boy"

"And a girl?"

"I don't know, what do you think?" I ask everyone, we all think as I rub soothing circles on my bloated belly.

"Sarah?" Deaton says to me, I think for a moment then shake my head.

"Mae?" Ronny says, I smile at him and shrug.

"Saffron?" Kelly asks as I think of the name, it did have a nice ring to it.

"How about Gemini?" Conner says looking at his food, I smile and look down, Gemini was my mother's middle name and I considered that Conner thought of her.

"I guess," I say as I look at all of them smiling wide, "We'll find out if it's a girl or a boy either way" I say to him as Conner takes my hand from under the table and intertwines our fingers together. Breakfast is quiet considering Conner had to go to school with Ronny and Deaton has to go to the pack from the sudden boost in babies so Kelly and I stay at home together keeping each other company until James comes by.

"That's him" she says as she opens the door inviting him in, he see's me and his wolf comes out, Kelly leaves us to be together alone as we speak outside on the swing set, he leans against the tree as I slowly swing.

"The blood moon is coming earlier then expected"

"How early?"

"Within the next couple of months"

"But then it's going to be three months early?" I say to him looking up, he doesn't seem fazed as he looks down as a growl erupts in his throat as he looks away, I stop swinging and I stand up.

"What is it?"

"It's just . . . That child is the offspring of another wolf, in my mates stomach," he says refusing to look down at me.

"I know but I didn't expect to be having a child this soon either" I say to him, he looks down at me his eyes fighting to stay a dim blue.

"I don't want a mate who goes out with other wolves," he bursts out at me as his eyes burn bright blue taking me by surprise.

"Firstly I didn't go out with another wolf I was attacked" I attempt to reason.

"That's just an excuse, you're making up a lie," he says to me, I feel like my heart just shattered. My eyebrow's furrow together as tears brim to the surface, I refuse to let them fall.

"James, I was raped! I didn't want it! This is the end result to an assault that I didn't want!" I say to him, his eyes widen as mine where confused and hurt turning glass from the tears that threaten to show.

"No girl gets raped, I can't have a queen who goes out with other wolves" He hisses out, I want to punch and kick him for being an idiot, who says that? No girl get's raped? 

"You're rejecting me because I was assaulted?"

"You're human, hell you're gonna die from giving birth to that thing!" he says, it stings, those words. His words sting, I feel like my heart is made of glass as it breaks into a million peices, I look down not willing to give him my tears, he clenches his jaw and turns away I know that he even feels my heart break but we both hide it from each other not willing to let the other one see.

"I reject you as a mate Chloe, you're not fit to be a queen" he says before leaving as I stand here watching his figure retreat into the house, he closes the door and leaves the house as I just break down falling to the ground holding my stomach and cupping my face, Kelly runs out and falls by my side rocking me back and forth telling me that it'll be okay.

"Shhh, it's okay baby, mum's got you" she says to me as I cling onto her, she kisses my forehead as I hiccup in her chest, it hurts so much knowing that James doesn't want me. She helps me up as we walk into the house she sits me down with a cup of tea as I tell her what James told me, she gets angry to say the least hell she even shifts in front of me before shifting back, I give her one of Conner's jumpers that I find lying around as she wears it till we find some pants for her.

"That boy is going to get it from me, I'll tell you that!" Beth says as she paces back and forth in the living room, her and Ronny are back but Conner had to go to the pack for some 'issues' had to be resolved.
