"The meeting with the Alpha's will be held in my council room, we'll be meeting them shortly" James notifies me, I put Gemini down and she runs off to Beth and Carman when James pulls me aside.
"I need you in the council, if they're still skeptical about the war then I need you to be there, you have a way with words as you somehow manage to inspire people, you willing to come?" he says to me as I look behind me seeing everyone smiling as they're all together, I turn back with him with a shy smirk on my face.
"Of course, we're going up against my father's army as well on the point that I get to know people besides you lot" I say to him as I bring Conner with me, he tells me that his family are staying at the Pack house while all of us stay at his house, I know that it's best for them but that means that I can't see Ronny all too much and I miss him heaps.
The car ride is silent on the way up to the council, Conner holds my hand and tells me that it's okay but I'm still nervous, what if someone thinks that I'm apart of my dad's big evil plan? I mean I am his daughter after all.
"Come on, just play it cool" he says to me as I nod my head, we walk into the council room and I see it erupt with different species.
"Alpha's" James addresses, Conner tells me each of their names and their species, half of them I didn't even know existed.
"Now, now I need you all to listen, I'm aware that most of you have travelled far to get here and I thank you for it but right now the entire world's at stake here" James says to them as they all sit down, smoke and tails are seem around the room as some of them are covered in tribal markings or tattoo's from cheap porn shops down the road or in the city from where they live. James addresses the fact that demons are out causing a commotion to erupt making it hard for him to keep the peace as people start to point and shout names out.
"I bet that it's the dragon's fault! They're always boasting about how hot they are!" one Female Alpha shouts across the room as I see a large man scoff.
"You whore! It's probably you and your witches doing it! Everyone knows that witches are associated with demons!" he retorts back across the room, causing people to agree and disagree, James roars though it isn't any help, I roll my eyes turning to Conner and he just shrugs his shoulders.
"Quiet!" I shout though it doesn't help the situation, I shout it again and no one listens everyone just shouting on top of each other before I fall into the black smoke as it erupts through me. I raise a hand causing everyone to sit down forcing them to stay still until James speaks again. It causes heads to turn and whispers to occur.
"Who the fuck is she?" a Vampire whispers to the creature next to him.
"More like what the fuck is she?" the other says as everyone stares.
"My name is Chloe Monrow, I'm a hybrid of two of the most powerful creatures that are known to man kind and as we waste time fighting the devil is hoarding his demon army beneath us as we speak" I say to them causing gasps to occur. I walk towards James as I place a hand on his shoulder forcing him to sit as I walk around the room everyone trying to keep their eyes on me.
"I've been to hell myself and seen what these demons are capable of first hand, it's not fun or pretty," I say to them I spot Conner with his arms over his board chest smiling at me.
"I know that you're all scared and worried but right now we need each and every single one of you to work with us to defeat the evil that is below the crust of this earth . . . and if you wish to ignore this fight then say goodbye to your families and friends because there is no chance of any of us surviving without the other" I say to them, some turn to their friends whispering and agreeing or shaking their heads. One man stands up his branding covering his body from head to toe.
"The Amrok's are with you on this, if you'd like to have an army we stand by you" he says, his accent is thick and I thank him as he sits back down a couple more people agree with me and give us their word for the fight though a couple more are skeptical.
"All I wanna know is who the hell are you? What kind of supernatural are you?" one says his Texan accent laced in his words as he leans on one arm.
"I'm the daughter of Diana, the moon goddess and my father is . . . Well he's not particularly nice" I say to them, eyes wide and mouths agape the rest all agree and give us their blessings to help us. We make a pact that no harm is to come to the innocent for this but if someone is to attack then they're allowed to do what the want on their territories but until then they follow our orders. Once the meetings over and a couple of wolves greet themselves saying a few words to me before leaving Conner comes over wrapping his arms around me and kissing the top of my head.
"Look at you all grown up taking control of the meeting" he says with a smile, I kiss him and take his hand as we walk out of the meeting and towards our cars. James grabs my arm and Conner turns to see his face and looks at me.
"I'll give you two a minute," he says before leaving, James gulps down hard and I turn my head like a little puppy does when it's confused.
