"And now for our guest speaker, Miss Chloe Monrow" he says as I walk up the stage, I thank the principle as I look at Beth and the others all smiling and nodding their heads.
"Wow I um, well I'll start this off by just saying . . . Wow" I laugh out as I hear a couple others laugh with me.
"I'm um, I'm here for a lot of reasons, well really just to get my certificate but on top of that I'm here for all of you guys, and yeah I know that I've probably never met you or I asked you for a pen one time in Physic's and ever since you always brought an extra pen because you knew that I'd most likely ask again but, I'm here for all of you" I start off, I can see some people looking up at me with smiles of joy and tears of sadness knowing that this is probably our last time with the whole year together.
"And well, we made it! We managed to survive yet another year in our lives and finally we're old enough to run the world ourselves," I say with a laugh seeing all of my friends there in the front rows smiling up at me.
"We've all been through a lot, and just like Beth said we need to stand by our friends, but we've also got to stand for ourselves and what we believe in . . . I know that during this year in particular you've probably noticed that I wasn't here for most of the time" I say to everyone as I see a couple students nod their heads.
"And yes I did take one for the team but, but when I was laying in hospital with bandages around my arms and legs while my friends would visit me and tell me that they're struggling in school because of work loads I had the most terrifying thought" I say to every as I smile a little.
"I missed school, I mean don't get me wrong I defiantly did not miss meat free Monday but yes, unfortunately I missed school to the point on when I'd count the days until I could go back, and I am happy to say that since I got back I didn't miss it again"
Every one laughs as I ramble on about how school has shaped us all and much we should be thankful for it and all but then I get serious and see a few people shed tears as I begin to talk about how much we're going to miss the fact that we don't need to wake up early or pull all nighters to finish off the English homework that was supposed to be due three weeks ago and you gave your teachers so many explanations on why you couldn't hand it in that you forgot which one you used last.
"So with as much wisdom and experience that I can say to you all is that, don't let other people pull you down because you're succeeding in something that they wanted to be better in, use that against them and go further . . . So as soon as the sun rises tomorrow I hope to all Gods of religion that I see you all owning the world" I say as people cheer, I walk down the stairs and sit down next to my friends them all hugging me and crying.
"Well without further anticipation your awards" the principle says. And like usual he lists off everyone in the year and we all go up and shake the principles hand and walk back down into our seats, then we wait a little longer before we are given another speech by one of the teachers and then they announce our leave. Cheers and cries of pure happiness ring across the field as we all throw our hats up into the air like they do in high school musical. Conner hugs me tightly as he spins me around.
"We're finally adults!" he says in a happy tone.
"I know!" I say back to him as Gemini comes running for me, I pick her up as Conner hugs her tightly and kisses her forehead.
"Can we go home mummy?" she says as she yawns, I laugh and kiss her little rose red cheek as I turn to the others.
"Mums just got to take a couple of photo's babe" I say to her as I hand her back to Lucifer, Beth pulls Conner and I into a photo as her mum and dad snap one of us three and then one of the whole group. We laugh and joke around with each other before we all disband off into our families getting ready for the responsibilities of having to be adults.
"Have they figured out where Conner's brother is?" Lucifer says as we walk towards the car, Gemini fast asleep in my arms.
"Yeah, he's been as the pack house since he was 'missing' turns out he was in his room the whole time stressing over the shift into his wolf"
"Why's that?" he says as I buckle Gemini into the car, we jump in as he starts the car and drives off down the road.
"He's turning sixteen, and with a wolf if they haven't shifted before then, then their bodies are forced to, but he's scared because the shift is excruciatingly painful and he's scared that he's going to die"
"You know that you can prevent that right?"
"What do you mean?" I say to him as he turns to me with a raised eyebrow.
"You're a moon goddess, which means that you can heal wolves"
"What?"
"I've seen Diana do it once before, but it drains you a little"
"How?"
"I don't know, I can really only teach you the ones that I have but I'm sure that you'll figure it out" he says to me with a smile, I smile back and look at Gemini, her little face squished up against the side of the booster seat as she quietly snores.
"What'll you do now?"
"I don't know, guess that I'll get a job"
"Where about's?"
"In the city probably, I met a guy who owns a business in there, I can see if he's still looking, what about you?"
"Michael and I are going on a brothers trip around the world"
"What for?"
"Diana's vessels, she's created one of every species, we've got to find them and send them to hell"
"Oh"
"Yep"
"Hey Luci"
"Yeah?"
"My dad, he's in hell isn't he?" I say to him as he stops the car at a red light, he doesn't look at me as he just looks down and tightens his hands around the steering wheel a little.
"Yeah, he is" he says to me as we drive down Wolf's tail, I grip onto the side of the door as he smiles a little.
"It won't happen you know"
"Sorry but it's just a habit"
"I know hun, I know"
