Is it over?

"Chloe" she whispers as I turn to face her, my breathing irregular as I drop to her side, the same scratches on her face, neck and chest like the ones she had on when we crashed all those years ago.

"I was wrong"

"You say that now?"

"Not about me, but about you"

"What do you mean?"

"I thought that once your link with him was gone then you'd be destroyed," she says as her eyes begin to fill with tears.

"Guess I chose the wrong person to break" she says to me as she spits out blood.

"It didn't have to be like this you know? You could have been with us," I say to her as she goes to put a hand to my face, I move out of her reach as frown.

"Just because you're dying doesn't mean I forgive you, I never will" I state to her making her smile.

"I know, but I chose wrong"

"I know you've said that already"

"Guess that I should have chosen Gemini" she says as she smiles evilly, I widen my eyes as the darkness takes over, I lift my hand and growl out launching it down but I'm dragged away from her.

"No! Let me kill her!" I say to them as James holds me by my arms.

"You can't! If she dies then we die!" he says, I reduce my struggling as Lucifer with Michael help her up.

"I the arch angel Michael sentence you Diana, Goddess of the moon to spend the rest of your miserable life in hell where you shall spend your days rethinking your actions on those around you" Michael says as he puts these chains on her with symbols that glow at her touch, he turns to me and smiles.

"And those who have shown no mercy towards you" he says making her growl at him and try to break out of the chains.

"But the cage, we destroyed it"

"Not quite, one of the many illusions of God, the cage reinforces itself once its been broken, ten folds stronger too" Lucifer says as Michael and Diana disappear.

"What'll you think happen to her down there?" Beth says as she turns to me, I smile and put an arm around her.

"I hope she gets what she disserves" I say to her making her laugh, "But the fight's not over, we still have all the demon's that she's let out" I say to them with a sigh, Lucifer smiles at me and hugs me pulling me into his chest as he kisses the top of my forehead.

"I know, but from what James tells me, we've got that covered" he says, I look up at him and turn to James as he smiles and puts a nervous hand through his hair.

"I sent all of our allies to find the demon's, they're travelling the whole world finding them and sending them back to hell" James says to me

"They're not getting out, not ever again" Lucifer says to me calmly, I look up at him as he smiles sincerely, I laugh and hug him tightly. 

"Group hug!" Beth squeals with excitement as she joins in pulling Justin in, I see James standing there awkwardly as I break the hug.

"I'll see you guys out there, just something I've got to do first" I say to them, beth nods her head as Justin walks out with her, Lucifer looking at me I smile at him as my eyes tell him that I'll be out in a minute and he sighs nodding his head and leaves the room.

"James?" I say to him, he looks at me for a moment as I wait fro the others to all leave.

"Look I um, I think that it's fair to say that we don't like each other in the relationship way now do we?"

Ne nods his head, gulping down all the nerves inside of him.

"Well, I was just asking that, even if we don't becomes mates again or whatever then well . . . How about we just stay as friends"

"Was that a thought that was going on in her head during the entirety of that fight?" he says making me laugh, I punch his arm lightly as I smirk at him.

"It was in there along with the rage, but in all seriousness I do want to be friends with you, Even if it means having to be the one that stiches you up every time you get into a fight" I joke making him laugh.

"Yeah"

"Friends?"

"Friends" he clarifies as we hug, the sparks are numb as I'm sure he feels the same, a slight sigh of disapointment leaves his lips when our arms brush each other.

"Maybe friends can be our always!" Griffen shouts from the doorway as I turn to him.

"Shut up Griffen!" James and I both say as we turn to each other and laugh, he takes my hand and we leave the crumbling fortress of madness.

"Wait! I need to get something!" I say as i run back inside and look around, smiling when I see the photo, I grab it along with the jersey and jump into the car next to James.

"Where'd you find this?"

"In the back with all the other gear why?" I ask as he holds it smiling for a moment.

"It's . . . Mine, from when I was in high school" he says, I look at him wide-eyed and mouth agape.

"What!?" I shout at him making him smile and lick his lips for a moment.

"Yeah I used to play" he says casually as Beth just laughs.

"You know I thought that you put that together already" she says.

"You knew?"

"Um yeah, everyone knows" she says as everyone else in the car just laughs, I stare at James and the corner of his eyes crinkle when he laughs, small things in his features that I recognize now as I shake my head.

"Man I am so out of it" I say as I look down at the photo.

"We know, but it's why we love you" Beth says as she drives us to her home, we get out of the car and I run to Conner's side as he is asleep on the bed.
