"Um J-James?" I mumble into his chest, he growls lowly at Conner threatening him to back away from me, I push off of him and stumble a little but I manage to play it off with a stern look at them both.
"Guys? Now isn't the time okay? Down there, they're starting a war and we have to be ready for it okay?" I say to them, I head towards the car without looking back and jump in, Carman smiling at me.
"What is it?"
"Nothing just thinking that you're speaking like a true queen"
"Of what species?" I joke to her making her smile wider, the guys get in the back as we start the car heading towards home.
"Both" she says stepping on the gas, I jump out of the car running into the house and hugging Gemini kissing her head all over.
"Oh Gemi! I've missed you so much!" I say letting my tears roll down my cheeks.
"Mummy! Mummy!" she chants making me smile wider, Beth comes over and hugs me as I let her cry into my shoulder and lecture me about running away.
"I know and I'm sorry, but can you blame me? I just found out that my dad isn't even my dad and that he's in hell with my real dad who is the devil" I say to them all making them look around and scratch necks.
"Fair enough, and hey since when did you have powers?" Beth says to me as I bounce Gemini on my lap.
"Don't know they've just been here for a few days"
"A few days? Chloe we last saw you before you vanished a month ago"
"What?" I say looking at them all, Sam nods his head and sits next to me making James growl at him for a vampire being in close proximity to me.
"She's right, and hey we've been trying our best to all get along but truth is we have trust issues with each other, and if there's a war going on with the demon's from down stairs then that means we've all got to work together"
"Sam's right, Vampire's and werewolves haven't even been in the same room together for centuries without trying to rip each other's heads off, and that's just one example" Conner says to them all as they all agree.
"Yeah and hunters haven't even been in the same room with a Lycan before . . . Ever" Sam says looking at James and Justin, I smile and stand up placing Gemini on my hip.
"So, then it's pretty incredible that this is going to be a fist right? I mean so what if some of us sparkle and the others change shape . . . Or even the fact that, some even have gadgets to help them get away or even track down, we all come with similarities and differences, its just up to us to change, rewrite history" I say to them all as Gemini hugs me, I smile and kiss her head.
"So who's ready to kick ass?" I say to them making Conner smile and Beth laugh a little.
