Crimson

Just like a horror movie

Cold, dark and silent are the three words to describe a horror movie. It's also the three words that I'd describe the situation I'm in right now. Not a single sound is heard in here as I use my phone for a light to see. My breaths fog up in my face, as I look around intensely to not find a mangled body but to find Conner alive and okay.

"Conner!" I shout hoping that the large wolf boy comes running towards me to pick me up and hold me tightly but instead I hear nothing. A small light shines on the other side of the rink as I jump over the barrier and walk towards it my feet slipping occasionally on the ice. I walk over to the light but I see nothing, no Conner or anything else in the room with me. I look around hoping to find a clue but just dust and dead bugs seem to company me.

"Conner!" I yell out once more, "Where the hell are you?" I say to myself as I look around.

Beeping sounds scaring me half to death as I see through the glass door, the ice machine on and running, I furrow my eyes together as something inside of me screams at me to get out of here. Pushing the thought down I walk outside the room and see the machine with no one on it still slowly making it's way across the rink, I walk closer to the side of the barrier and get ready to jump over but halt when I see the trail that the machine leaves behind. My breathing picks up as I frantically look around.

Thick, red blood follows the machine as I jump over the barrier and run across the ice falling flat on my butt and hitting my head causing me to drop my phone, I groan and hear a screeching roar from inside. I get up and glide towards my phone seeing a pair of red eyes staring over at me from across the ice. I scream when it jumps over the barrier and starts going full speed towards me. I jump over the barrier myself and run for the main exit, as I don't bother to open the door but instead jump through the glass and breaking it.

"Go!" I scream at Beth as she starts the car, I get up off of the floor and run for the door as I feel intense pain all over me from the fall, I jump into the car as the creature stares at me through the door. It's burning eyes and sharp teeth smiling at me as Beth drives off.

"What the hell was that!" the screams at me as I begin to pull large shards of glass out of my arms and legs.

"I don't know but whatever it was, it wasn't happy that I was there"

"We need to call James! Or Justin or Emma!"

"Beth just shut up and drive faster! I'll bleed to death if you don't drive faster!" I shout at her as her body is screaming confusion and fear, her arms are tense as she drives her hands gripping the steering wheel so tight that her knuckles turn white.

Her slams on the breaks once we get to the house as she jumps out of the car and running to my side, helping me out as she kicks open her front door and helping me to the seat.

"What the hell happened!?" James screams as he holds my hand not knowing what to do, Emma starts pulling out glass along with Justin as they have towels and hot water being brought from the kitchen by Beth and Griffen.

"I don't know! But whatever it was, it must have Conner!"

"What did it look like?" Justin asks me.

"Large red eyes and sharp white teeth, I didn't see a shape or anything, didn't stick around long enough to see" I reply to him.

"Did it say anything to you?" James asks me as I turn my head to him.

"Oh yeah I had a lovely conversation about the weather with it! No! It didn't! I was a little busy running for my freaking life and jumping through a glass door!" I scream at him as Emma pulls a massive shard out of my waist.

"Why the hell did you jump though the door? Why not open it like a normal person!" he shouts at me, his eyes bright blue.

"Because it was right behind me and like every fucking horror movie ever, the white girl tries to open the door and she dies!" I shout at him, screaming in pain as they pull glass out of me.

"Stop screaming!"

"Stop living!" I shout back.

"She needs to calm down!" Emma says as there is one final piece, "This'll hurt" she says as I shake my head tears streaming down my face.
