"He'll be okay, just tied" Emma states to me as I thank her with a huge hug, I go to his side and sit on the free side of the bed holding his hand as I watch his skin slowly heal itself from the rope burns on his wrists.

"I'm so sorry Conner," I say to him as I tear up, I lean my head onto his chest and close my eyes for a moment, my breathing hitches in my throat.

"It's okay," he says back to me, I snap my head to his face seeing a smile slowly construct itself onto his lips.

"Conner?" I say as one of his eyes peal open, I widen mine as a single tear falls down my face as I push myself onto him and kissing him happily which makes him laugh as he wraps his arms around me.

"I've missed you"

"So have I" he says to me, I take a moment to look at his face as he smiles at me.

"What?" he asks his eyes full of joy as they dance.

"Just thinking of the fact that we have to sit our HSC in the next two weeks"

"Oh yeah I forgot that for a moment we where still in high school"

"Yeah I wonder why" I say making him laugh, I lean down and kiss him once more before letting him sleep. I walk down the stairs seeing everyone lying around and Beth just sitting on the table as she drowns herself in books.

"What now?"

"Rebuild our lives I guess, I mean we have school in the next couple of days" Beth says as she looks at me, I sit down next to Griffen as he hugs me pulling me into his chest.

"Yep, and I have a little girl at home wanting to desperately see her mother" he says, I smile and kiss his forearms making him laugh.

"If only you where a guy"

"Just a guy in general or Conner?" I say to him making him laugh.

"Girl he's your man! I have standards too," he says as we laugh.

"Well I think that it's safe to say that we all deserve a big rest"

"Yep" Beth says as she looks at me, I smile and close my eyes taking in a big deep breath before falling asleep in Griffen's arms.

As the days go by and Gemini is finally in my arms once again the stress of having to take care of her on top of sitting my final exams where beyond words. Though it is hard Lucifer is staying with me and is making sure that Gemini is being taken care of, he even read every single book there is on how to take care of a child and made sure that he is the best grandfather to her. He even cried when he first met her, imagine that though this big tall man who has a reputation of being the most sinister creation alive cries when he meets his grand daughter for the first time. The headlines would be fantastic!

And yes Conner and I are taking it slow but like always things don't seem as they appear.

"What?" I say as his eyes are shaking like the rest of his body.

"But I thought that she died"

"She did"

"Then how is she literally standing right there," I say to him, he looks behind him and see's her, I look down and sigh, as I know that look. He never got over her and I know that he never will because I look at Conner like that too, and it isn't an obvious look but it's the small things that make someone fall in love with another. The way that they curve their lips into a smile or the way that their eyes sparkle when they're talking about things that make them the happiest. Or even the way that they talk about you to someone like you're the only person that makes them feel whole again. I know that feeling and the looks because it's how I am around him, his eyes, his lips, even when he gets angry I still fall in love with him.
