"Okay time to go" Conner says taking my hand and leading me outside with Ronny following us, Beth comes by in her jeep and I smile at her we jump in as she hands us our drinks and we drive off towards the school talking about our new members of our army.

"Anymore research?" I ask her she reaches behind her as her eyes are glued to the road as she grabs a file and places it on my lap.

"What is this?" I ask her flipping through a couple of pages.

"It's all I can find on the leading demon's that we know of from Satan's parade down stairs" she says to me, I put my drink down and flip through landing on a couple of nasty demons.

"Jesus" I say as I look through them, Conner wanting a turn next, I hand the files to him and he sighs loudly.

"These, the only ones?" he asks us.

"No, there's more, way more but they're the only ones we know of"

"How?"

"We've got a couple of demon's ourselves" she says with a smile, I nod understanding her as we talk more about what we're going to do.

"Some species can't be near others, it's just how they work, others are fine with buddying up with other species though it's going to be a little harder considering the fact that some people in their groups don't share the same mind set" Conner says as we jump out of the car, Ronny runs off with his friends after saying goodbye to us as we walk into the student body room seeing our usual group of friends waiting for us.

"Friends" I say with a sharp nod of my head, they smile and greet the others and myself as we all sit down talking and conversing in the art of conversation.

"What do we do while we're not fighting?" one asks me, she's small and looks frail I smile at her and think.

"We go on with our lives, the more low profile we look the less attention we'll get okay? If any of you or someone else in your group sense or spot something you come to one of us," Conner says to them all motioning to himself, Beth and I.

"Or James, we'll protect you guys" I say standing up, they all agree and we diverse out of the room and into our groups, Conner taking my hand and walking towards our homeroom.

"Any ideas besides protection?" he asks with a hint of frustration.

"Well we can't make our move until dear ol' daddy down stairs makes his" I say to him as we sit down, the ringing from the school bell summoning all the other kids as the teacher walks in. I smile to myself catching Conner looking at me.

"What is it?"

"Just miss this"

"The annoying sound of the bell? Or the fact that we get pop quizzes every second day?" he says making me scoff and turn to face him.

"All of it" I say to him as I sit up listening in on the teacher as he tells us about how the world is created. He goes on as he hands out sheets, the questions written like we're all in an exam or test. I freeze on one of them when it mentions Lucifer, I stick up my hand and he looks my way.

"Sir it says that Lucifer was the first fallen angel"

"Yes that's correct"

"Why? What did he do that was so bad?"

"Well he disobeyed his father"

"And because of that he was banished? That seems too unrealistic"

"What are you trying to say miss Monrow?"

"I don't know it just seems too unrealistic at the fact that an angel, whose God's first creation seemed to have disobeyed him and for that he was banished to the pit? It seems like it's missing some details"

"Well you can gladly read the bible, it states it in there" he says to me, I nod my head slowly and look back to my papers still letting my mind tick over the reasons and theories that now taunt me. The day went by fast as we all took time in making sure that everyone is okay and that everyone's groups and packs knew of the situation at hand.

"What do you think your dad looks like?" Beth asks me as I poke at my salad, I look up at her and she was mindlessly staring out the window as she leans on one of her hands.

"I don't know didn't get the chance to see him while I was down there" I say to her as I look at it, I didn't feel like eating as all I can think about it Gemini and what'll happen if I don't make it out of this fight.

"Right sorry, I forgot the fact that you went there . . . But in all seriousness do you think that Lucifer has a red cape and horns or does he look like a human?" she asks me, I put my fork down and sigh.

"He looks like your worst nightmare dressed up in your best dream" Carman says as she sits down next to me, Conner and Ronny make their way over to us and I smile as Conner sits down next to me.

"How so?"

"Because he's in everyone's head, continuously talking about what he does to those who deserve it, it's truly a dark place to be down there in his little collection room" she says to us as she sits on her drink.

"What's his collection?"

"He collects souls of the worst people of all history, I mean Hitler is his personal favorite but he's got others like people who bombed cities or assassinated presidents and such" she says as she takes a bite of her sandwich.

"You've been there?" I ask her gripping onto Conner's hand from under the table; she swallows her bite and nods her head vigorously.

"Oh yeah when I was down there I'd sneak in every time, he leaves the door wide open"

"Oh" I say looking down at my salad before pushing it aside.

"Can't eat?" Carman says tilting her head a little as I look up at her, an eyebrow arched up with a piercing in it that I didn't see before.

"Yeah just, a lot on my mind . . . Life seemed a lot more simpler before the whole mates and wolves and war thing" I say to them all, Conner huffs and takes a sip of his drink.

"But with everything, Gemini is my biggest worry . . . It's my first time not being there with her" I say to them, Conner looks at me with a small sad look and sympathetically smiles.

"It's okay, she's a tough kid," he says as he wraps an arm around me making me smile.

"And she's got a tougher mum" Beth says pointing my fork at me as she takes a bite from my salad.
