The struggle for triumph

When you have set your course but the path is uphill,

Keep on trudging but do not lose your will.

When debts are high and pennies are scarce,

Reduce your needs but do not stress.

When you need a shoulder and find none,

Hug yourself, it could be fun.

When the sun is scorching and shade is withdrawn,

Smile and endure for sure it's a new dawn.

When thunder and cracking cut through the sky,

Look up and soak but do not sigh.

When you wish to breathe but it's all stuffy,

Pant and struggle, be a toughie.

When your dreams come crashing down,

Walk it off but do not frown.

For life is nothing but a journey that's a test,

If you're tired on the way, you must rest.

Once you've rested and are ready to fight,

Work hard by day and sleep well by night.

The universe loves a resilient soul,

Diamonds are but battered coal.

Don't wait for life to change on its own,

Strive and succeed, make your own throne.

How are we?

How did you find this one? Life is difficult, but striving is what makes it beautiful. Its ironic really. We need to feel pain to know what bliss truly is. So struggle away but don't give in!

I would like to dedicate this poem to everyone out there who struggles but most of all, I would like to dedicate this one to my beloved Nikster @Nikk03. I know you're struggling and are tired of it all. I know life isn't being fair, but embrace it. His plans are much better than ours. Do your best and leave the rest to him. I love you!

To my handful but lovely readers, all I want to say is thank you. For loving alation, it means a lot to know its inspirational... Touching lives has been my one true dream and if you guys are touched, dream accomplished.
