Mulling in darkness in the night and in the day
Your demons overcoming your being with might,
Seated in a deserted corner alone and astray
The broken pieces of your heart induce their blight.
Gloom you believe is your friend and here to stay
You hope it fills your cracks and makes everything alright,
The walls you built for protection though made of clay
Shut you out, cause your fall and increase your plight.
On shaky feet you may rise but life makes you sway
The ground beneath your feet crumbles to induce fright,
Breathing comes at a hefty price that we all must pay
Strive such that when you walk, the world seems bright.

Hello lovelies!
How is everyone?
Don't worry, I'm perfectly fine, this is for someone else. A very close friend of mine is undergoing a tumultuous time. I have faith she will get through. If you're reading this, know that I'm here for you...
So, how was it?
Too preachy?
Let me know what you think!
Cheers!
Zoya
