Love You

" I really fucking love you" keeps ringing in my head, setting my body on fire, he does love me, and I love him so much. He pushes some hair behind my ear, caressing my cheek, I shiver. The amount of love I feel for him scares me. I want to open myself up, be the person he deserves it just feels like I don't know how to. I stare at him, his eyes sparking electricity through my body.
"I know you just want to be friends, but you did just kiss me" he rambles, his fingers tangling through my hair.
"And I do love you so much Violet, like so much it freaks me out cause I've never felt like this before with anyone" he continues, his nerves showing.
"But I understand if you want to stay friends," he says, his eyes searching my face. We stand there silent, our breathes mingling. I run my fingers up his neck, through his hair relishing in how soft it feels.
"I love you," I say finally, a huge smile breaks out onto his face. He kisses me, his kisses trailing down my neck. He looks up at me, a beautiful smile on his face, I blush.
"Stop looking at me like that," I say, he chuckles
"I can't" he responds shrugging. After a long, heated makeout session we head back in, his hand intertwined with mine. We find everyone where we left them, Kalani talking quietly to Dylan. Deena is the first to notice, her eyes falling to our hands, her eyes turn ice cold.
"There you guys are, I was getting worried," Kalani says, her eyes also falling to our hands, a smile on her face.
"Does this mean.," she asks, her hands clapping together.
"Yes, we're back together" I admit, Kalani cheers, pulling me into a hug
"About time" she whispers, making me laugh.
"Congrats" Dylan adds smiling. Deena doesn't say anything, her mouth is in a tight line.
"Can we go, I don't really feel like staying?" I ask, my eyes moving around the crowded house. Kai pulls me into his side kissing the top of my head.
"Want to come back to mine, Kalani's stash is fully stocked," he asks, I nod smiling.
"Hey, you're not allowed to touch my stash, only Vi is" Kalani orders, making me laugh.
"Hey I want food to" Dylan interrupts, his arm going around Kalani, I smirk, she blushes.
"Let's go," Kai says. We all pile into the car, this time Kalani rides shotgun, while Kai, and I squish in the back, not that I mind.
"I'm just gonna call my aunt, I'll meet you inside," I Tell Kai once we get to his house, he nods. The call's short, I tell her we're at Kai's, and that we're going to chill here for a bit. She tells me it's fine, but if I'm gonna sleep over just text. I stand outside for a bit after the call ends, letting the Hawaiian breeze cool me off.
"Everything okay," Kalani asks as I walk inside
"Yeah fine, now I need chocolate" I groan plopping down on the seat next to her, she smirks handing me a piece. Kai sits beside me, his arm going around me. I can't really focus on the movie not when Kai keeps running his fingers across my shoulder, not when he smell's this good. I take quick peeks at his face, which contorts with emotions during the movies funnier parts.
"You okay?" he whispers halfway through the movie, his breath tickling my ear, I groan.
"I can sleep over" I respond, he stiffens, sitting straighter.
"Do you want to?" he asks, his voice gravelly.He stares straight ahead, making me smile because of the effect I have on him.
"Why do you think I've been so distracted?" I ask smirking, he chuckles. The rest of the movie Kai finds ways to set my skin on fire. Sometimes it's just a touch other times a small kiss on my shoulder, cheek, or mouth. I'm wishing for the movie to be over, so I can take him back to his room.
"I fucking love this movie Dylan says, his legs spilled over the loveseat. I use this opportunity to speak up.
"I'm actually exhausted," I said faking a yawn, Deena gives me a weird look.
"Are you sleeping over?" Kalani asks, popcorn in her mouth
"My aunt said I could, so I guess," I say pulling out my phone to text my aunt.
"You know I'm super tired too," Kai says making me smile, Kalani groans.
"We should head to bed then, you know leave these guys to finish the movie," I say, Kai, nods a smirk evident on his face. We both stand, rushing to the room.
"You're not fooling anyone" Kalani yells making us both laugh.
"I really missed you," Kai says as he pulls me on top of him on the bed, I blush.
"I missed you too," I say, my fingers trailing down his arms. I take him all in still stunned that he's mine, and he wants me. He kisses my neck sending shock waves up my spine. No ones ever made me feel so much from just a single touch, it's ridiculous how much I love him. We stayed up most of the night, talking about everything, laughing, and joking until our stomach hurt. We also did a lot of dirtier things, that made me sore in the best way. I wake up naked, tangled in Kai's arms, and really needing to pee.I look up at Kai a smile breaking out on my face at how peaceful he looks. His lips are parted slightly, his breathe moving the strand of hair that lays across his eyes, I push it back carful not to wake him. I trail my fingers across his chest, memorizing each groove.  When my bladder feels like it's about to explode, I sneak out quietly putting on Kai's shirt before heading to the bathroom.
"Have a good night?" Someone asks, I turn to see Kalani smiling, and leaning against the doorway.
"You scared me" I whisper holding my chest, she giggles moving closer to me.
"I'm really glad you two made up," she says, I smile looking at Kai's door.
"Me too" I respond, suddenly her smile widens
"What?" I ask
"Dylan kissed me," she squeals
"Oh my god, finally" I cheer, she laughs, jumping with me.
"Tell me everything after I pee," I tell her, she nods. After I go to the bathroom, we head to the living room.
"Alright set the mood," I say once we're settled.
"Okay well Kai, and you went to the room, Denna started complaining asking if it was weird that you guys were gonna have sex with me in the house, I told her It didn't bother me, but she got all pissy and left. After she left, Dylan and I stayed up and talked. first, it started with funny stories about him as a kid, then he kind of brought up Haku, and He asked how I was. I started telling him a bunch of stuff I've only ever told you, he was being so sweet. He started saying things like Haku didn't deserve me, that I could do better. Then he leaned in and kissed me" she explains, her smile bright.
"Awhhh" I coo, she laughs
"The kiss was so good Vi, it was so sweet," she adds making me smile.
"How did you guys leave it?" I ask, she groans now
"Well, he said it was late and that he needed to head home. I walked him to the door, and he kissed my cheek, which is so confusing, does that mean he didn't like kissing me?." she groans
"No way , maybe he just didn't want to push it" I explain, she nods.
"I don't want to seem to clingy, and ask him on a date" she says sinking back into the couch.
"Okay, What if I ask if he wants to come to the beach with us" I suggest, she brightens.
"That could work, since you and Kai will be inseparable we'll get our alone time," she says, making me laugh.
"There you are, I was worried when I didn't see you in bed," Kai says, his hair tousled from sleep, or lack thereof. His muscles contract as he walks forward, leaving me slightly breathless. He leans down kissing me, I smile into the kiss, extending it as much as possible.
"What was so dire you stole my girlfriend from me," Kai asks, sitting on the love seat, his legs spread.
"Dylan kissed her" I explain, Kai looks shocked
"Really, I thought he was into Vi," he says, I shove him.
"Do I have to give him the talk?" Kai asks, Kalani glares
"no" She states, he chuckles.
"Well good, now I won't have to worry, and your happy" he says, Kalani throws a pillow at him, making me laugh.
"Now text him," she says pushing my phone at me.
"He already texted," I say surprised looking at my phone.
"Can we talk?" he writes I look at it confused
"What did he say?" she asks, I show her, her face falls.
"Is that a bad sign?" she asks, I shake my head.
"No, he probably wants advice about you," I tell her, she nods.
"Yeah sure meet at Kalani's house?" I write back
"Yeah sure just meet me outside this need to be private" he replies, puzzling me further.
