Chapter 6: REASONS WHY…..

            Na-mention na ang dahilan kung bakit s’ya gano’n but she didn’t elaborate more about it. Where is she anyway? Hmmm….. sa bahay na tinitirhan ng Yaya at ni Nica sa Batangas. Nagpunta s’ya agad do’n matapos makapag-report sa opisina. Humingi pa s’ya ng leave para makauwi bago sumabak ulit sa trabaho.

            At handa na s’yang mag-elaborate about her past…..

            Chris was her first boyfriend. Fourth year high school s’ya nang maging boyfriend niya ito. ito ang karamay n’ya when her parents died. Savior din ito to those people who tried to pull her down. Malaki ang ibinigay niyang tiwala rito. Nakilala pa nga ito ng parents niya before the accident.

            She loved him to the point that he considered him as her first and last love. He is not that handsome but she didn’t care. Their relationship was perfect until one thing had happen. Betrayal is the most hateful thing in every relationship. Betrayal was his way to get rid of her. She saw him kissing another woman in her own house. She broke up with him the moment they have been caught in the act.

            Stanley came next in her life. He was good enough. He’s an achiever too. She loved him. They were classmates back in college and they were compatible in many ways. But their relationship was the shortest. She found out that he used her for his ambition. She lost interest after discovering his intention. Funny thing was, he asked for forgiveness. Kind of bastard! She would never trust him again!

            Josh was her third. He was five year older than her. He met him during his last year in college. Compared to her two past boyfriends, he was the most caring, thoughtful and loving boyfriend. She was contented to be with him or so she thought. He pampered her like a baby. She really loved him enough to marry him anytime.

            They were perfect couple. More things in common but her dream brought their relationship in total chaos. She wanted to enter military right after her graduation but Josh disliked the idea. She didn’t want to break up with him but he did. Their last confrontation made them to part ways. That moment, she indeed cried a lot. She let her tears fell down.

            She gave up on love after those experiences. She built a wall and surround ice around her. She didn’t want to feel the pain again. She didn’t trust men after that. She hid her vulnerable side and tried to be strong as she could. She made herself numb. She avoided everyone but she cared as well. She helped them without asking to be helped. Some understood her others don’t. They created gossips about her but she didn’t give a damn about it. She let them talked about her but they ended up asking for help.
