There was something wrong with Taehyung and I couldn't point out what it was. The next day, I visited him again, making it look like I was hard onto the mission but all I was here to do was check on his horny little ass!

"Tae!" I called, stepping into the large house hesitantly as the guards did not even take a glance at me.

His butler was quick to attend, "Good Morning, madam" he smiled.

"Morning! Just call me Ji Yeon, Please" I returned his greeting bow, noticing the broken glass table from last night was out of sight.

"Master is asleep, I'm afraid" he looked apologetic. The man did see me storm out of the house last night, looking red and pissed off, he was dealing with awkward things here.

"Let me wake him up then" I suggested, carefully placing my bag on the cushions in the living room. With a nod, he left and returned only moments later with a tray, two cups of hot coffee and a glass of water.

Stretching my hands out I tried to get it from him but he only shook his head, "I'll give it to you once we're up the stairs". He did as promised and soon after, I was pushing the door to Taehyung's room open with my hip, using my butt to close it before walking towards his bed.

Setting the tray down, I walked around the bed to the windows on the far end of the room and tugged the curtains open. Sunlight poured into the room, enough to make everything visible under the white light but definitely not enough to wake the boy up.

Taking quiet steps back towards the man, i sat down, the bed dipping due to my weight and as I tugged the blanket off his head, Taehyung resisted with a groan, trying to cover himself up again. Smiling, I tried again, "Taehyungie, wake up~" and he let it go.

The blanket came off to reveal his beautifully puffy morning face with disheveled hair but what caught  my attention the most was the obvious plaque of dark brown blood on his face. He looked like he'd bled from his nose, very scanty but evident enough and dried up.

Not wanting to scare him off first thing in the morning, I brushed his hair away from his forehead, helping him sit up. Taehyung did so, rubbing his eyes with one as he  tried to reach out to me with the other, "Gimme hug" he whined. Obliging immediately, I squished him tight, rubbing his warm back, placing a kiss on his naked shoulder, "Good Morning".

"Morning, baby" he buried his face in my neck, "I'm sorry for last night. I shouldn't have-" he started only to be cut off.

"Shh, it's alright" I peeled him off, moving a little to hand him his cup of coffee as he sat with his broad back against the head board.

"I'm sorry if my breath stinks" he laughed as I placed a peck on his nose before placing the cup in between his hands.

"I don't mind" I shrugged, reaching out for mine.

"Can I kiss you?" He asked, eyes lighting up for a second.

"No" and they were off again.

A sip or two and I finally pointed it out, "why's there blood coming out of your nose?" I made it sound as casual as I could.

"Is there?" He furrowed his brows, fingers coming up to brush against the dried blood. It didn't stain his fingers but he realized it was there. Taehyung's expression changed within seconds as he gripped the handle of the cup tighter, looking around for something, "fucking cocaine" he whispered under his breath.

"What?" I inched closer. Did I hear what I just heard?

"Its nothing" he shifted, trying to place the cup away so he could sneak into the washroom but I stopped him with a strong grip on his arm, "Taehyung!"

"Its nothing" he lied again, looking everywhere but at me. His hands grew shaky as he shuffled on bed.

"Since when are you doing cocaine?" My mouth slightly fell open. He only shook his head, "I'm sorry I just am not in the right state of mind right now- can we not talk abo-"

"Why the fuck are you doing cocaine?" I snapped completely. With everything I had falling apart, I couldn't afford losing him. He was a strength and letting him turn into a vulnerable addict would be the last thing I want.

"Oh Kim Taehyung" I bit the insides of my cheek, not knowing what to tell him at this point. Standing up, I set the cup down noisily before approaching his wardrobe and digging through it.
"Where is it?" I asked, looking through his clothes before pulling his drawer open only to find a clear packet full of white powder. There were slips of paper and a credit card or two in there as well. With one stern look over my shoulder, I dug in again.

Everything made sense- especially his behavior over the past few days, him being desperate over everything and how lazy and cloudy his mind had gotten, it worried me.

Taehyung could have stopped me as I went through all of his belongings, but he didn't. He looked apologetic and terribly upset. I did not spare another glance as I picked up all the sealed packets of cocaine towards the washroom before emptying every single one of those in the toilet and flushing it out.

The coffee I had left on the side table was cold and so was Taehyung when I stepped back into his room. The sunlight seemed to be brighter somehow and once I was within his vicinity, he curled a hand around my wrist, "Please, don't leave me".

A loud sigh escaped my mouth as I plopped down next to him with narrowed eyes, "Tae, tell me what's wrong? You've been acting weird since the breakup, its worrying me"

"I closed a deal" he swallowed, "I thought I could test the drug once and that'd be it,but-" he looked away, "I can't seem to stop"

"Is that all?"

"I was upset and angry when you left. I thought I'd try to get you back but then, the deal happened and since then, I'm loosing my mind" he shifted closer and I placed a warm hand on his cheek.

"I know they're bad for me, I know I shouldn't do them but I can't-" he swallowed, "I can't hold back. Especially when you are not around" he took my palm in his hand and pressed it against his lips.

"I'll stay here then" I promised, "I just don't want you to do it. Promise me you won't".

I knew it wasn't going to be a promise and then all unicorns and rainbows. I knew Taehyung would fall back into its vicious trap but I hoped he wouldn't. It hadn't been very long since I started this and we could put an end to the episode if the boy was determined enough. I'd be there for him. I'd be there to monitor him and for now and I hoped it'd suffice.

"I promise" he kissed the back of my hand.

The drowsiness in his eyes were still evident and he seemed really upset about the whole ordeal so I suggested some good breakfast, "Do you want me to make breakfast?" I smiled, "and then we can go visit a psychiatrist".

"Do we really have to?" The side of his lips rose up a little, "I can't go under sedatives. They'll milk the secrets out of my dark soul" he laughed.

That made a lot of sense, I couldn't just take him to any doctor out there without risking everything. It's not like they'd put a drug dependent patient on sedatives or hypnotics or anything, but it was still a risk with CIA playing around. I wouldn't take that big of a risk, yet.

"Only breakfast then?" I asked.

"Is it cereal?" He teased back, chuckling.

"No! I can cook, alright?"

"What're you gonna make?" There was a glint in his eyes as I stood up.

"You'll see" leaning down, I pressed my lips against his forehead, "clean up and meet me downstairs".
