Chapter Six:
"Okay, so since you've been gone." Mia tapped her chin, thinking. "Let's see. Well, last year, we got six new students at the beginning of the year. They quickly took Mick's spot on the popularity ladder and took over the school. They are definitely a force to be reckoned with. They're hot but they're so cruel to the little people who get in their way. If you were still going there, I'm sure they would have shown you no mercy." I scoffed at the thought of these cruel boys.
"Boy, are they in for a rude awakening. I plan on ruling the school this year." Mia nodded in agreement. We were sitting in my room as she informed me of the events that had taken place in the last year.
"Well, they don't allow any girls to be the queen bee. I don't know why and I was honestly too scared of them to ask, but I am sure you'll put them in their place. You'll kick their sexy, popular butts. Everyone else is too scared of them. Even Alicia."
"So who are these boys?" I asked, now genuinely curious.
"Everyone calls them the Argonauts. I don't really know why, but they do kind of resemble Greek Gods with how hot they all are."
"The Argonauts?" She just nodded and continued talking about them.
"Well, first, there's Reese Masters. He's a dirty blond with gorgeous blue eyes. He's way hotter than Mick and I think someone mentioned he's a lifeguard during the summer. I would pretend to drown for that sexy boy any day. Anyway, he's like their leader or something. None of them do anything without discussing it with him first. It's weird.
"Then there's Caleb Owens. He's always in detention for one thing or another. He doesn't like school, but he seems to only go because of his friends. He always wears this leather jacket and he has a motorcycle." I smiled at the thought. I had always wanted a motorcycle, but my mom refused to let me get one. My father, however, had told me that we could go look at them. I had gotten a license for one when I was fifteen in the hopes of convincing my mom, but it was a no go.
"Then there's Jaxon Winters. He's the only one with glasses. He's a brunette with hazel eyes and he's super smart. He's really cute, though. Oh, Andrew Blake, avoid him at all costs. He's such a ladies man and he flirts with anything with boobs and a vagina. He's always smiling and I honestly think it's because he's always picturing girls naked. He's also blond, but he has pale green eyes. Next, we have Dane Sumpter, the real reason everyone's afraid of them. He's the bully and he doesn't hesitant to push people around, literally. He's gentle with the girls, physically, but he's still harsh with his words. He's always wearing a muscle shirt and he's always standing beside Reese. He has black hair that hangs in his face, almost hiding his brown eyes.
"Lastly, we have the sweetest boy I've ever met, his name is Mason Jeffries. He, like, skipped a grade because he's so smart and so he's the youngest of the group, but he's so sweet with his light brown hair and big baby blue eyes. I have never heard him utter a single mean word, which makes me wonder why he hangs out with them, but from what I heard one of them is his half-brother or cousin or something."
"These Arognauts are going to be seniors too?" She nodded in response.
"Okay come on and let's go shopping for some hot threads for school."
We spent the rest of the day shopping and get lots of clothes. When we got home, we were so exhausted that we just passed out on my bed amidst the bags of clothes.
The next morning, we talked about what I planned on doing in my vengence against Mick and Alicia.
"I don't know if I even want real, malicious revenge. I don't really want to sink to their level. I'm now more focused on how I'm going to become the most popular girl in school with my bff." She smiled and tapped her chin in thought.
