Chapter Thirty-Five:
I had texted Valerie to find out where she was, so I could confront her, but she had been vague and I knew she didn't want Alex to hang out with her.
Me: hey, babe, where r u? im bored.
Val: at the coffee shop. with friends.
Me: want me 2 join u?
Val: no, i'll stop by l8r on.
I pulled up to one of the only coffee shops in town and sure enough there was that slut macking on some sleazeball. I walked into the shop and walked up to her table. I waited for her to notice me, but got nothing. I was furious and I wanted to punch something, but I took deep, soothing breaths to calm myself. It didn't work very well.
"Hey, skank," I finally said. The dumb broad turned to me in shock. Well, we know what her nickname is.
"Raven, it's not what you think! I-," she started. I was not going to listen to her half-ass excuses. She was nothing more than a two-timing ho-bag and I wasn't going to waste anymore time on her than necessary.
"You and Alex are done. He saw you cheating on him. Now, I'm still trying to decide on social homicide or physical trauma? Which would you prefer, Valerie?" I told her, leaning on the table, sounding menacing. I stood up in a quick fluid movement, "You know what? How about I surprise you?" I smiled evilly and turned to walk off, but stopped short. "Come anywhere near any of my boys and I'll have no choice but to teach you a valuable lesson. Consider this your first and final warning, Valerie." I then sauntered off, with the look of fear on Valerie's face implanted in my memory.
I hurried home and ran up to my room. Ashton was comforting Alex, who was buried in his twin's shoulder. I picked up my phone from the bed and called Reese.
"Hello?" his voice sounded gruff and husky. Somewhat sexy, actually. Focus, Raven. More important things to deal with right now.
"Hey, I've a favor to ask. I need to have Valerie..." I snapped at Alex who mumbled a response. "Gold, Valerie Gold, taken care of. The skank cheated on Alex and she has to suffer, socially. If she goes near any of you guys, she's been warned and I need to be informed."
"Okay, Valerie Gold, gotcha. I'll tell the guys to steer clear of her. Got any preference on how I should have her taken care of?" Reese asked.
"Just so we are clear, she isn't to be taken out; we aren't the mafia. But I want her to suffer. Social pariah, maybe? I don't care how you do it, I just want it done by tomorrow. No one cheats on any of my boys." I was angry. Reese confirmed my commands and hung up. I sat on the bed and Alex lunged at me. I was ready for it. Somewhat.
"Well, I have a date with Sara. I'll be back later," Ashton said. He kissed me on the forehead and left, shutting the door to my room as he walked out.
I lay Alex down on the bed with me.
"Alex, I'll be right back. I just need to shower really quick," I whispered to him.
"Okay," he mumbled sleepily. I slowly got up and got my things to change into.
I showered as quick as is girlishly possible, put on some comfy pajamas, and walked out of the bathroom. Alex was now in his pajamas and also fresh out of the shower. I walked over to the bed and laid down with Alex next to me. I faced him and he cuddled into my chest. I would normally feel uncomfortable with this sleeping position, if he wasn't so upset.

I woke up just before my alarm went off. I looked at the spot next to me, only to find it empty. I wondered when he had left. I got up and readied myself for school. I knew I would have to look in control today with the Val situation needing to be formally handled. I dressed in snug skinny jeans and a long form fitting top. It was white and had long sleeves and a low dipped v-neck. I added some accessories and did my hair in loose curls, using moose. I put on my make up and I was dressed to kill. I slipped into my high heeled boots and then I was ready.
