Chapter Ten:
I decided to take the boys to school in my BMW because they didn't know the way to school yet and I wasn't willing to drive slow enough for them to follow behind me. I thought about the night before as I got ready for school.
We had eaten dinner and talked about how things would work. My parents were busy a lot lately and so I would be in charge of making sure things got done around the house. I was used to that, but add the twins in the mix and things would probably be a little difficult. I hadn't really talked to them at all last night and I couldn't really think about why I hadn't. I had kept to myself and watched TV for an hour after dinner until I was too tired to stay up any longer. I guess it hadn't really sunk in that we had two new people in the house and so I just kept to my normal routine without thinking about anyone else.
I grabbed my purse and then left my room. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen and grabbed a toaster pastry that my mom had just put on the counter for us. I kissed her and then took a bite of my breakfast as I went to the table where a tall glass of orange juice was waiting for me. The boys sleepily made their way into the kitchen and I watched as they ate their breakfast in silence. I went and brushed my teeth as they finished up and I walked towards the door.
"You boys ready to go?" I called out.
"Yes, ma'am," Alexander whispered in my ear, making me jump. I let out an embarrassing squeak and turned to face him. He was inches away from my face. "Did I scare you, honey bear?"
I didn't like his nickname for me. He had come up with it one day when we were around nine years old and it was all because I was being chased by bees. I don't know what was with those bees, but for some reason they mistook me for a flower and ever since then they have called me honey bear.
"Do not, and I mean this, do not call me that at school or you will die a slow and painful death," I whispered with a serious glare. I would not have anyone else calling me that. It would definitely not help my current bad ass chick reputation
He smiled, "Sure. Whatever you say, sugar lumps." I rolled my eyes. Alexander was never one to call you by your real name, it just wasn't his thing. Ashton on the other hand was a punster. I knew he was going to pun up my name whether I went by Ivy or Raven and there wasn't a thing I could do about that.
"Let's go, Ashton. We're waiting on you!" I yelled after backing away from Alexander.
"Hey, you can't rush perfection," he exclaimed as he descended the stairs. "The chicks will definitely be ravin'. Am I right?" I rolled my eyes. Very punny... not.
"No, but you take any longer and I'll leave you behind to catch another ride to school." I shot back. Alexander laughed as we walked out the door and to my car. The twins started to fight on who would get to sit in the front. Now there were the boys that I knew and oddly loved, in a strictly platonic friendship type way. Though the incident in the foyer did hint towards the opposite, I wasn't into them that way. I mean they're hot, but I still saw them as obnoxious brats, for now.

We finally arrived at school. I turned off the car after finding a decent spot to park and practically jumped out to escape the endless bickering between the two. And to think I had missed it, I want to slap myself for ever thinking that. I walked towards the building. I would lead the way to the front office to get their schedules.
I kept glancing back at them. Alexander with his stoic looks and Ashton with his bubbly personality. I couldn't believe how hot they had gotten. I honestly thought Alexander resembled Ian Somerhalder with bright green eyes and clean shaved. Ashton was almost the same except his hair was more of a dirty blond and his eyes were bluish green, not to mention his stubble. These boys were going to drive me crazy. I just knew it.
