I was in my usual spot in the woods,hiding from my parents who were constantly fighting. I hated this town. I knew no one and have the most disfunctional family. I was sitting in a tree listening to why don't we ,their Christmas ep as it was already November. This year had flown by. All of a sudden I heard a high pitched bark followed by whimpers. I looked down from the snowy branch I was sitting on and see a young golden retriever. I quickly jumped down and slowly approached it, making sure not to scare him. I put my hand out and he sniffed it, then coming close to me and jumping on my lap. The poor thing was shivering and I could feel his ribcage.
I check the tag on his collar; 83 dau road (not actually jonahs address I just looked at streets in stillwater) I took off my wdw hoodie and wrapped him in it to keep him warm. Poor thing.
I walked to the house,it was only a couple blocks from where I live. I knocked on the door. No answer. They must still be asleep it's still early.
