Puppy dog eyes

I had been with Jonah all day. I really didn't want to go home so I even ran errands with him like getting sawyer an appointment at the vet to make sure he's alright. Jonah is the nicest guy I've ever met. He said that he seen how some of the kids treated me at school and he even stood up for me without me noticing,that's probably why it died down a couple years ago. But then he graduated and couldn't help met anymore. I can't believe I never knew it was him who stopped it.

He's going on tour again with his band in February but they all decided they wanted to stay at home with their families for Christmas. He said that he's gonna hang out with me everyday so I don't have to spend much time at home. He's so sweet! He even said I could spend Christmas with his family if I wanted to. 

Me and Jonah were watching shrek and he had his arm around me and my head was leaning against him. He looked down at me with puppy dog eyes and just smiled.
"What?" I giggled trying not to blush
"I'm just trying to figure out how someone can be so beautiful. Inside and out"
Okay by now I was definitely blushing. I hid behind my hair and just watched the movie
"You're funny" I mumbled just loud enough for him to hear. He tapped my head gently pretending to slap me
"It wasn't a joke, E"
"Then your dilusional, J" I emphasised the J laughing and then I snuggled back into his chest. He still hadn't put a shirt on, how the hell was he not freezing?! It's the middle of winter in minnesota!
I looked at my phone and realised the time 8:15pm. Crap. My parents are gonna freak! I'm now flustered and panicking, scared of what's to come,
"Sorry Jo I really gotta go my parents are gonna go ballistic!" I was running out the door when he grabbed my hand. He pulled me into a hug and rested his chin on my head,whispering
"If you're this scared to go back there,I'm not letting you."
He pulled away still holding onto my wrists. Looking deep into my eyes. God he was perfect.

I text my parents saying I was staying at a  friends house and turned my phone off so they couldn't reply. Me and jonah sat back on the sofa and cuddled up together. I was drifting into a sleep when he picked me up bridal style and put me in his bed. I heard him go over to the chair.
"It's your bed you can have it." I started to get up when he shook his head.
"You deserve it. This is the first proper sleep you've had in ages I bet."
"Share? One under the covers,one on top?"
"Or both of us under." He smirks at me
"Well I mean... I certainly don't object"
He got under the covers and snaked his arms around my waist. I cuddle up to his chest.
"Your cute" he whispers
"Your perfect" he kisses my forehead and we drift to sleep in each others arms.
