Puppy dog eyes

Jonahs POV

It's december 1st and me and evie are about to board a flight to LA. Me,evie and the boys thought it would be a good idea to stay in the LA apartment together for a week so evie can get to know them.

We get on the plane and take our seats. We were lucky enough to get to sit next to each other. I place my hand on her thigh and just look at her with wide puppy dog eyes, silently begging for affection. In response she places her hand on top of mine and leans into my arm, stretching out her neck to kiss my cheek but she's too short. I lean down letting her give me a quick peck and then turn and kiss her properly. This girl is a gift from heaven, I swear. She falls asleep on my arm fairly quickly and I decide to nap too. We are woken by the air hostess telling us we are about to land. Instinctively I kiss evie's forehead and squeeze her hand.

Evie's POV

The air hostess wakes me and Jonah in time for landing. He kisses me on the forehead and I look down at my hands and fidget with my fingers. This boy makes me so God damn happy.

I can tell he's worried about me meeting the other guys. Apparently zach is quite the flirt so he's scared I'll leave him. No matter how many times I promise him I'm his, he can't help but stress.

We leave the airport and get in an uber to the apartment. We are the last to arrive.
We walk in the door and they are all so excited to see each other again. I just hide behind jo shyly, not making eye contact with anyone.

He reaches behind him and finds my hand, gently tugging me to stand beside him.
"Guys this is evie, evie the blonde is Corbyn,  the one with rosy cheeks is zach ,noodles over here is jack and that daniel"
They all give big grins and exaggerated waves when their name is said. I smile.

"Ummmm excuse me you forgot the best one" a super pretty girl with dark hair walks out eating a granola bar. Jonah gives her a long hug. Wait, am I jealous?  All this time telling him not to worry but I never prepared myself.
"I'm Christina" she says with a mouthful of granola, making me giggle
"Don't worry, I'm with Corbyn, I could see the worry in your eyes when Jonah hugged me" she whispered just so I could hear. I felt more at ease now.
"Come on I'll show you your room, well our room,we have to share"
"Christina the whole point in coming to the apartment was for evie to meet US" Corbyn laughs
"Shush I have a new friend leave me be!"

We go up to the bedroom and she helps me unpack
"I see your wardrobe exclusively consists of black skinny jeans and Jonahs hoodies"she smirks teasingly. "Are you two a thing?" She asks wide eyed, wanting to know all the gossip.
"Yeah" I giggle hiding my massive grin by looking down
"Ooh what's he like" Christina asks
We sit on her bed and I spend the next half hour talking about how great Jonah is and getting really excited just at the thought of him. She says something to make me laugh and I fall back on the bed. Out of the corner of my eye I see someone standing in the doorway. I look over and see jonah. My cheeks go red in embarrassment.
"How much did you hear?" I say trying to act shy and innocent
"Enough" he says with a huge smile on his face. He sits next to me on the bed and kisses me.
"I love you" he smiles into the kiss.
I pull away "I love you more"
"Nahhh"he shakes his head and laughs leaning in for another kiss.
