We walked around the lake. Fingers interlaced, my head leaning on his arm. We talked about everything we normally do but it felt as though a huge weight had been lifted from our shoulders. We laughed and smiled and teased each other.

"It's almost christmas" jo looked at me with his eyebrows furrowed and tears glistening over his eyes.
"Yeahhh? What's wrong babe?" It felt good to call him babe, but I was worried about him. He had been so happy up until now.
"I just, I really want you to have a good Christmas and are you sure you don't want to even say hi to your parents? I know you don't get along but I want to make sure everything is exactly how you want it"
I smiled, relieved it was nothing serious
"J, I haven't spoken to them in weeks and I've been a lot happier, I think it's best that I stay separated from them, for my own good. Besides it means we get to live together. What I want is to spend time with you and laugh our days away" I kissed his shoulder as he was too tall for me to reach his face and then i smiled up at him. He smiled back but seemed unsure, I gave his hand a soft squeeze to reassure him.

We walked in silence for a little bit until he whispered something under his breath, I couldn't quite catch it
"What was that Babe? I didn't hear" I pass him a smile
"Oh nothing just thinking out loud" he says. Giving me a little nudge.

"I wanna spend the rest of my life with you"
Oh crap did I say that out loud?
I look down at evie to make sure she didn't hear. As we walk around in silence I think about what our future would be like.
I want a little girl called billie and a boy but I haven't settled on a name. Maybe Robert , robbie for short.
We would have a big house with spare rooms for all the guys to stay in when they visit. SHOOT! THE GUYS! EVIE STILL HAS TO MEET THE GUYS!
