The whole car journey on the way to the vet, jonah stared at me. Smiling. This was the happiest I've seen him. We decided that we'd just hand his parents an invite as they were obviously cool with it but we could only do that if my parents gave us their blessing. I said I wasn't gonna go against them and he respected that.

We were gonna collect sawyer and then book tickets to fly out to portland. We thought that maybe if I suprised my family they'd be more willing to say yes.

I lay my head on jonahs shoulder and closed my eyes. I could imagine it. Being his. I would officially be his, I had met my soul mate and I was going to marry him. Wow. How did I get so fucking lucky?!

I felt his head on top of mine and his cheeks became firm as he was obviously smiling too.

I looked up at my fiancé and and smiled "I really love you, you know?"

"Nooo?! Really?! Hey do you wanna be my girlfriend. .. you're cute" jonah smirked at me proud of his sarcasm. I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Nice try but I'm still funnier"
"I can't believe I get to marry you in a few months" he looked into my eyes and smiled.
"Shhh jo!" I nodded my head in the direction of his parents in the front seats.
"Oh shut up" he laughed before kissing me.
"Ewwwww! Mom!!! Jonah and evie are kissing right next to me again!!!" Me and Jonah laugh at svea as carrie rolls her eyes.
"Is it hurting you svea?"
"no... but it's icky!"
"Svea. Leave them be. You'll wanna kiss your partner when you're older"
"Nope! No way!"

We all laugh as Tim pulls up to the vet. Me and jonah kiss again.
"Okay enough lovey dovey, let's go get our hound!"

Svea practically leaps out of the car, skipping towards the entrance of the vet before everyone is even ready; her summer dress' skirt blowing with every step.

We all pile in to the small waiting area. Tim walks up to the desk, asking for sawyer. About 5 minutes later he is walked out by a male veterinarian, a large white collar around his neck.
Svea giggled at sawyers new 'outfit' as she insisted on calling it as Esther and jonah immediately pulled out their phones. Esther opening Snapchat, and jonah opening instagram. I decide to savor the moment and l lean into jonahs arm. He immediately turns the camera from sawyer to me and starts giggling; I shove his hand away and he fake gasps. He quickly turns the camera back on the two of us before grabbing my face and kissing me.

"I love you" he says before ending the video and posting it to his story.

"Wait add it to your highlights, you were cute" I smile at him and he kisses my head.
"Babe, do you know how many people are gonna repost that?! We're adorable. Anything that gets posted of us is getting reposted a gazillion times" I smirk
"Okay Mr hotshot"
"I swear to God evie if you use the f word!"
"What? Does someone not wanna admit that they're- f-f-f- FAMOUS?!" I giggle as he tickles me. I try not to scream before Tim comes and lightly smacks jonah's head.
"Stop being a twerp" he laughs. I look at jonah and remember all the reasons I fell in love with him. Then sawyer comes over and reminds me of our first meeting.
"Thank you, sawyer ravine. Thank you" I pet him and he wags his tails, almost as if he understands. I love this dog so much. I love this family.
