Book: The Cross Over
Genre: Vamp/Werewolf
Writer: _AquaSpirit_

Interesting choice for a cover, I understand the connection between the cover and title, but I'm not sure if this is the right cover for this book genre. The description needs major work, it doesn't give many hints about the plot and is too vague.
I don't judge a book, but those are the first things your future readers will see, and I would strongly recommend that you would work on a better description and perhaps see other options for the book cover. The beginning:
A prologue is supposed to give a resumed introduction to the story, but yours was too vague and didn't explain much, you slightly explained some of the story, but wasn't enough to make me want to read further. Reading chapter 1 onwards wasn't any better either, you are rushing the story, there's no detailing of description whatsoever and it gets really confusing at times.Detailing/Grammar:
I didn't see any major issues with your grammar, as for detailing I think you can and should develop more not only describing surroundings but especially characters feelings and emotions throughout the story as well during dialogues.Character Development/Plot:
The plot needs direction, and a lot of major work, and is impossible to judge the character development if I don't feel you really introduced the characters or even the main character (which is supposed to be you, right?) and why is a demigod story doing on werewolf/vampire category? This should be on fantasy in my opinion. My view as a reader:
Let me ask you something...why did you enter your book into awards? Or why do you even write in the first place? And I'm not trying to be rude or anything like that but point number one, this book isn't ready to be in a competition just yet, because I'll have to compare it to others and yours isn't at the same level and I don't think that's fair on you. Also, the way I see it from this side is that you need to develop as a writer as well, no one is perfect, but when you are writing a book you need to allow your readers to be able to see the story from your perspective, to be able to have the same connection with your characters as you do, but if you only going to write dialogue throughout your book, is almost impossible to have an idea of who they are, of what they feel, their personalities and everything else.
There's no description at all, and that doesn't make me feel like I'm reading a book, it feels incomplete.
When you are writing imagine you are in the same place place of your characters, what do you see? Describe that! When they're talking to each other, do you see their body language? Describe that! And what do you feel in each scene you are writing aboutDescribe that!
There are no cutting roads when you are writing a book.I wish you all the best, and the hardest job of a writer is to write...no one is perfect but everyone is unique, so I hope you keep writing and I wish you all the best.
