Chapter 18- Home

Before I start this chapter, I'd like to say thank you to the people that tweeted about my account being hacked. I was really quite distraught about that, because a lot has happened on that account, such as Jai following me and being RT'd by One Direction. But it's all good now my account is back. Carter’s POV

Give up Carter; you’re a slut, that’s pregnant.

The thoughts ran through my head. All of them are awful. How can I be such an idiot? As Jai spoke those words last night, my heart sunk. If I am pregnant what am I meant to do? I’m 15 years old, this is meant to happen.

Jai pulled me into his chest, his hands holding me tightly into him. He just held me while I cried. This actually can’t be happening; I’m not ready for something like this.

“I’m so scared.” I choked, still sobbing into Jai’s chest.

“I know so am I?” He agreed stroking the back of my head.

I completely forgot that Jai would be freaking out to. He too is only 17. Even though he is still two years older than me, he wouldn’t be ready for something like this.

I pulled away from Jai’s grip and stood in front of him. His eyes looked red and puffy. I could see he was freaking out; he has that look in his eyes. I heard a light rustle from the trees and then I saw Beau emerge.

 He walked over to us and I quickly wiped away a few of my tears.

“It’s going to be alright.” Beau said lightly rubbing my back.

“You don’t know that.” I replied looking down.

“You can’t think like that.” He said.

“Well I do.” I smugged walking into the tent.

I slid under the blanket and shut my eyes. I clenched them trying to get rid of what was in my mind. Nothing seemed to work. No matter how much I tried to tell myself ‘it’s okay’ I know that it’s not. My life is completely and utterly over! I couldn’t sleep.

About an hour after I stormed off, Jai came after me and latched his arms around my waist. His hands resting firmly on my stomach, where I assume a little person might be growing. He nestled his nose into the back of my neck, his hot breath sending waves of electricity up my spine.

Yeah bullshit, who said you can’t find love at such a young age? I’ve always said that I was incapable of love at such a young age, but now I realise that love can be found at any age, no matter how young or how old.

“I love you.” He whispered.

“I love you too.” I replied. It’s funny how I can only sleep well when Jai is with me.

Waking up to having Jai’s arms still wrapped tightly around me was the best feeling. Then I looked down and saw Beau squished up at the bottom of the tent. I kicked him lightly and watched him spring up.

“How are you feeling?” He quizzed rubbing his eyes.

“Yeah okay.” I said quietly.

I wriggled from Jai’s grip, but as I did so he woke up. He said up and placed a small kiss on my lips.

“Yeah I think I have to go home.” I announced.

“How come.” Jai quizzed blankly. He is so cute when he’s dumb.

“Well I can’t be giving birth out in the bush.” I replied.

“Oh, I get it now.” He nodded.

I smiled at him as I worked my way around Beau and out of the tent. It was cold, as the wind hit my face. I just stood there for a while in the cold. I felt something get placed onto my shoulders. It was a large heavy grey coloured blanket. I looked up to be met with a pair of beautiful brown eyes. They kind of resembled diarrhoea… nah joking, they’re completely gorgeous.

He held the blanket around my body, instantly warming me up.

“Ready to go home?” He whispered into my ear.

  “Yeah.” I replied.

We began packing up everything, it took us a little while but once it was over there were a few sighs of reliefs.

We got on a bus and headed home. I don’t know what my mum is going to do, or how she feels about everything that has happened. But after all, it was her idea to move.

The bus trip and train trip took a while. We arrived in Glenroy at 6:30 pm. Beau had left and went back home, but Jai decided to stay with me.

He walked me to my house. Once we got there he latched his hand into my own. I pushed the door open and stepped into my house, not aware of what was about to happen.
