Chapter 30- GC

Before I start this chapter I just want to say how amazing the Janoskians new single is... I love it and I am so proud of how far they have come... and yeah so enjoy the chapter xo

Carter’s POV

The plane landed and the familiar sight of the Gold Coast stood before us. We caught a taxi to our old house, which is now our new house, but yeah, you’ll get it.

Mum paid the driver and we grabbed our bags, we unlocked our house and walked in. All of our furniture was sitting everywhere so we had some organising to do. I grabbed all of my stuff and took it to my old room. I began setting my room up and making it look good. I put some posters off and some photo’s that I had put in frames. I placed a photo on the shelf and looked at it… it was a photo of Jai and I hugging at the beach, I smiled at how happy he made me feel.

Hours past and I still didn’t have my room finished. I needed my best friend here to help me. I hadn’t told Lara that I was back, I wanted to surprise her. I dialled her number and waited for her to answer.

“Hello.” She said.

“Hey.” I said happily. “Where are you right now?” I quizzed.

“Um… who is this?” She quizzed blankly.

“It’s Carter you idiot.” I laughed.

“Oh hey gurrrrl.” She laughed. “Um I’m at home, on the Gold Coast.” She added.

“Well this is very serious… you have to go to my old house right now.” I said in a serious mono-tone.

“Okay missy, I’ll go there right away.” She giggled.

We hung up and I waited for her to arrive at my house.

I heard and knock on the door and I ran down to answer it. I knew it would be Lara. I opened the door and we both screamed with joy. I hugged her tightly and we ran up to my room. I closed and locked the door behind me.

“OMG what are you doing back?” She quizzed.

“Mum and I thought it was best to come back.” I smiled.

“So why do you need me here?” She quizzed while walking around my room.

“I need you to help me set up my room more.” I replied.

“Well you’ve got your photos up… and who is this you are hugging?” She asked referring to the photo of Jai and I at the beach.

“That’s just this guy I met down there.” I smiled to myself.

“Just a guy? You guys look pretty close.” She winked.

“Well do you want to know the whole story?” I questioned.

“Yes… please, tell me everything.”

We sat down on the floor of my room and I began talking about Jai and I.

“Well when I met him, he was 17 and I was 15, we barely ever spoke to each other but we were in the same group and hung out at lunch and stuff. But we finally got the confidence to get to know each other. We got really close, but my mum didn’t approve at first and she got really angry, I couldn’t stand not knowing Jai, so I ran away.” I began.

“This is already the cutest story I’ve heard.” Lara piped.

“But I didn’t go by myself, Jai went with me. So we got on a train and went to a random place and pitched a tent. The first night Jai asked me out, and I was so caught up in everything that I forgot how old I was and we had sex… in a tent!” I looked at Lara’s expression… it was weird.

“THAT IS SO CUTE OH MY GOSH… But you’re not a virgin anymore.” She said.

“Nope… not a virgin and my mum knows.” I said. “Anyway, we got really close and yeah I loved him pretty much, but we’ve been through so much and I had to leave him when we left.” There I completed the whole story in the matter of a few minutes.

“Okay, my prediction is that when you’re older, you will run into him and then you will get married and have lots of babies.” She said.

“Did I mention he was famous?” I said.

“WHAT? HOW?” She screamed.

“He’s in this comedy group called the Janoskians.” I stated.

Damn I miss this boy!

Jai’s POV

I miss her, I miss her, I miss her, I miss her, I miss her, I miss her, I miss her, I miss her, I miss her! That’s all I could think about. Carter was constantly on my mind since we said good bye to one another. I don’t know what to do with myself, whenever I was doing something, it was with Carter and now that she’s gone… it’s almost like I’m lost.

She was totally my everything, and all I can say is that I miss her. But I’ll get over it… and maybe we might see each other again one day…
