Chapter 31

Catalina's POV

I lean over to my nightstand to pick up my pencil and my diary. This is basically a new addition to my nightly routine, before I head off to bed I write in my diary. And so far it hasn't really been that bad. I get ready to start writing and my pencil breaks so I get up to sharpen it. I have great luck don't I. Ok it's sharpened time to spill all the beans. I'm weird let's just forget that just happened.

Dear Diary,

So far I've had a pretty good day, other than breaking my pencil before even starting, there's not much going on really. Unless you count Mariana being a paranoid mess for prom and applying for some internship or scholarship or whatever the fricker frack she called it. Honestly I can't stop thinking about how close I am to graduating let alone Callie and Brandon who are graduating in just a few weeks. I don't even know what major I'm going to choose in college but I have made one decision. Moms and I both thought it would be a good idea to take a gap year. So by the time I'll start college I'll have my drivers license and might have saved up enough money to buy myself a decent car. That's also another thing I'll be getting a job, it's not much but I'll be saving every last penny.

So basically moms told me to write about how I'm feeling and what not, so I guess I'll start writing that. Well overall I'm happy but I'm also stressed Junior year is coming to end and next thing I know Mariana, Jesus, and I will be graduating. Speaking of Jesus we are still working on making sure he is able to graduate with us. But I know him he'll work hard and graduate. It's just Jesus always needs a little push after thing he's been through. And trust me I completely understand where he's coming from. Speaking of Mariana I already know she'll get what she's hoping for especially her top college choice. It's just crazy how Callie and Brandon are graduating I still can't get it to process in my mind.

But hey at lead I'm figuring out what my plans out. It's not something a 15 year old girl should be planning but I'm fine with it. Moms are a lot of help so that's probably how I'm getting along with it. Soon I'll be done worrying with all these plans and schedules because summer break begins soon.

An update on prom I still don't have a date which I'm not really expecting to get one but I did get a dress. I'm going my own route for the shoes instead of heels I'll be wearing some pretty cute vans. I'm not really the girly type so my look will consist of the dress and vans. A small purse for my phone. As for the make up it's just some lipgloss and a little blush. I don't really want to be that extra. So that'll work for me. The dress is a beautiful aqua marine blue with a hint of mint. The vans are your standard white ones not much. And the purse matches with the dress. Anyway I'm getting tired so I'll have to stop otherwise I'll fall asleep right here.

A/N sorry for another short chapter but I think I'll be skipping a week or two because school starts in September and I still have work to finish along with "camp" starting next week it's not really camp but day long color guard practices up until the end of August because our first game is the 31st so I'll be tired and not have much time to really do anything. I apologize but hey don't worry I'll still be posting on my Stiles Stilinski and Liam Dunbar books because I already have pre written chapters. It's just this book I write whatever idea I get so it's more a spur of the moment not really planned. Other than that I hope you enjoy this extremely short chapter~ Much love ❤️
