It had been several weeks since Madison last saw her best friend, Jungkook. They had known each other their entire lives. There wasn't a thing about him that she didn't know. They had always spent everyday together. She knew it was unlikely that they'd hang out much now that he joined BTS. He was going to be busy and she knew that. She was incredibly proud of him for going out and doing what he loved. She Just wished she could've been there with him.

The day he left she had asked him if they could hang out, and he agreed. The spent the entire morning together laughing and talking. He took her to all of their favorite places to be together. He was extra sweet to her and always made sure to have an arm around or hold her hand. Jungkook made sure Madison had is undivided attention that day. It was one of the best days of her life.

She didn't think it could get any better until he told her that he had been in love with her since the day they met. She was in complete and total shock by his words. She had always had feelings for Jungkook, and couldn't believe that he felt the same way. Of course Madison told him she felt the same way, but she couldn't be with him now. Not when he was about to go off and travel the world and perform on various stages. She didn't want to keep him from experiencing the world.

Now here she was weeks later, staring out of her window, regretting her decision. She would've given anything to be with him now like before. She missed him. She should've jumped into his arms and kissed him right then and there.

Madison let out a sigh as a knock came from the door. She got up and and walked over, humming softly to herself as she pulled it open. Her eyes went wide when she say Jungkook's familiar face smiling down at her.

"Kookie!" She shouted and threw his arms around his neck. "What are you doing here?"

"I couldn't stay away any longer," he said to her and pulled a single rose out from behind his back. "I missed you so much."

Madison blushed and giggled. "Kookie-ah," she said softly and looked up at him. "I miss you too."

"Spend the day with me?" He asked. "We don't even have to leave the house. I just want to be here with you."

Madison nodded and Jungkook intertwined their fingers as he walked into the house. The cuddle up on the couch like they always did and watched their favorite TV show. It felt like old times. Except now every time Jungkook got close to her she could feel her heart racing in her chest. She tried to focus on the show, but all she wanted was to feel his lips on hers. She shook the thought out of her head. She tried to convince herself that they needed to stay friends. It was best for the both of them.

As if reading her thoughts, Jungkook tilted her chin up so that their eyes met. "I know you're afraid," he whispered. "But I'm not. I have never been more sure about anything then how I feel about you."

"Jungkook-," she started to say but he cut her off by pressing his lips to hers. Madison couldn't fight it, not when the touch of his lips against hers sent an electric shot right through her. His light touches gave her chills. She knew that she wanted this to happen just as much as he did. She wanted it to work. She wanted to be his.

"We'll make it work," Jungkook said softly when he pulled away. "We'll call and text. I'll visit whenever I can. But I want you to be mine. Please Madison." He cupped her cheek and gentle rubbed his thumb over it. "You have always made all the hard times worth it."

Madison nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I could never say no to you," she whispered softly and placed a kiss on his cheek.

He nuzzled his head in her neck and wrapped his arms around her waist. He pulled her into his lap. Jungkook attacked her with soft, gentle kisses and Madison couldn't help but blush at all the affection. "I missed you," Jungkook whispered in her ear.

Madison shuddered and smiled up at him. "I miss you too."

"I don't why I didn't tell you sooner," Jungkook said as he wrapped an arm around her waist. "We could've been doing stuff like this more often."

Madison rolled her eyes and leaned into him while the photographer finished setting up. "I don't know why you want to take photos with me."

"So that I can have beautiful pictures of us to look at while I'm on tour," Jungkook replied. He gave her his usual bunny smile and she giggled and pushed him lightly.

Once everything was set up Jungkook and Madison did everything the photographer to them to do. She giggled through most of it, having a stranger photographing them made her extremely nervous.

"Just look at me," Jungkook said with a smile. "It's just you and me babe."

Madison did so and was completely mesmerized by the way he was looking at her. It made her feel warm inside and she couldn't help but blush.

"Turn around and face me, Madison," the photographer said. She did so and put on her best smile. He snapped a few pictures. "Okay now face Jungkook again."

Madison turned around and her eyes went wide. "J-Jungkook," she said softly her lips trembling.

"Don't worry," he said with a smile. "It's a promise ring." He held up the box and opened it gently. Madison smiled as he slid the ring carefully on her finger. "Now you'll know that no matter what I'm always coming home to you."

Madison blinked away the tears in her eyes. "Kookie," she said softly and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I love it."

"I love you, Madison," Jungkook said softly and placed a kiss on her lips.
