Once I finished showering I made my way back towards my bed and pressed the button for the nurse to come. She was there within seconds

"You all ready to meet the others?" Her light voice rang out behind me.

I turned towards her and nodded. She handed me a set of crutches and we were off.

The nurse was a mid- 40's women. She was short with blond hair, and a deep tan. Her blue eyes were kind but unreadable, the wrinkles around her eyes crinkled as she smiled politely. She led me outside, past the white sterile hallways and out the door.

Once outside I realized that we were just a few feet away from where they used to hold their annual BBQ's. The nostalgia hit me like a brick. Life was so much simpler back then.

We rounded a corner and came upon the main pack house. It was huge, but that was to be expected. It was very modern and looked almost futuristic by its boxy and all white aesthetic. Large floor length windows left everything out in the open and lit up for all to see. Not at all what you'd expect from a pack house in the swamps. The light bounced off the surfacing with ease.

We bounded up the stairs, made a left and went straight to the end of the hallway to the last door. She knocked softly, and a guwaff response came immediately.

"Come in."

She gestured for me to go inside, then she walked back towards we had come from. I took a deep breath and opened the door.

I popped my head inside first and was met with greens, blues, and yellows. The colors took me aback. The room reminded me a little of the oval office, but more jungle themed. The walls were white and the floor was a hardwood mahogany. There was a white desk three fourths of the way into the room and behind it stood large floor length windows. On either side of the windows there there were plants hanging up. Their vines touched the air and some were reaching towards the sky. The Alpha was sitting at the desk his hands held together and his head resting upon them.

In front of the alpha were two plush grey couches with blue, green, and yellow pillows upon them. The side tables were housing plants and flowers of all colors. The office looked wild and beautiful just like the land they live on. On the couch sat the Beta and Gamma. I walked in and took the seat across from them. I rested my crutches on the seat next me. Their faces were grim and looked to be hundreds of years older than they truly were.

I looked to to the alpha and he nodded at me. I began my story, leaving only my personal epiphany out of it. Every wrinkle in their old faces settled in a little bit deeper with every word I spoke. The men grew more and more tense as I relayed the doctor's Beta's words to them.

"One step closer to their revolution, huh?" The Alpha rubbed his chin, his face grave as he spoke.

"You were lucky you weren't killed, boy." The Beta finally chimed in, taking a good look at me.

I nodded my head in agreement.

"So what do you guys think?" I asked looking over at the three large men in front me.

"Thank you for letting us know about this," the Alpha got up from his desk and walked over the door.

He waved his arm to the open door, ignoring my earlier statement completely.

"I'm sure you are needed back at school. I've told your father about your run in with the doctor. We'll be handling the rest"

"But wait, you can't just kick me out." The confusion evident in my voice. "We need a plan, by the way that Beta spoke they are planning something big."
