Axel

The borders of my pack were visible at the bottom of the hill. I could see wolves gathering around on the other side of the border.

They were getting ready for battle. I pushed my wolf as fast I could down the hill. As we made it to the bottom of the hill. I could clearly see the shocked faces of my pack members.

All looking at my wolf and the my bloodied human mate a top my back.

I mind-linked with the nearest general. My wolf let out a mighty roar as he sent a picture of all of us going into the pack.

He was at least in his 40's but I didn't care as We pushed our Alpha command behind it.

The wolf shook as my command took effect. He looked to be invisible pain as he answered back.

He sent a picture back of my father and I understood.

They had orders not to open the borders for anyone.

I paced back and forth in front of my own soldiers. I was starting to go mad. My wolf wasn't handing 'no' very well right now and his need to protect his mate was swallowing me whole.

Soon there would be no more Axel just wolf.

The red wolf looked towards me wearily, as my wolf chest started to rumble. We were beginning to see red. He didn't recognize these wolves in front of him. He was starting to go rabid.

His maw began to fill with saliva as his mouth and he pulled his mouth back. Fluid flowed over his now fully pointed canines. He was ready to attack anything. Even the wind, if the moved wrong.

Soon the ranks of the wolves started to part and the Alpha pushed through.

I sent a clear message to my Father. Open the borders.

He shook his head no.

My wolf lost it. He started banging into the boarding as growls ripped through the clearing. Izzie and Becca covered their ears as his loud growls tore through the air.

I sent the picture again of them opening the gate. The Alpha shook his head no. My Wolf starred the Alpha down. It was a clear challenge, the alpha seemed to buckle for a minute under the pressure.

Instead of answering the challenge, he sent the image of me letting the humans go and just easily going through the border. The only thing stopping me was the dead weight.

My wolf snarled at thought. He would not leave our mate. She was all we had in this world to call our own.

When the world needed us to be strong shells of a human being, she made us see the humanity and beauty in living. She kept us going, made up stronger.

The Alpha looked at us unwavering. His decision final.

My wolf got up on his two back paws and beat against the barrier. At first nothing happened, but then he reared up and put all his might into it and the barrier shook. Ripples appeared where we had hit.

The Alpha looked shocked and took several steps back.

My wolf liked the fear on his face. We grinned at his reaction, all our teeth showing.

The front ranks of the wolves took a step back. The power radiating from me was ridiculous at this point. Even I was aware of it. The red wolf next to me started whining and walking back and forth. His head lowered as he did so. It was even too much for this Alpha.

The only reason my father didn't crumple from it was due to this boarder. It blocked out a good amount of my power.

I was about to beat against the barrier again, when I took a sniff. It smelled like Kyle and Kathleen. Along with many others.
