MARIA
1:31 pm; Wednesday- Midtown Highschool

"Hmm... maybe we should do something based on electricity. Thor could even help with that," Peter says, as he plots down ideas on his notebook.

We both sat in the lab, searching for ideas for our project. It was only Wednesday, so we had plenty of time. Well, at least I thought. Peter on the other hand... not so much.

"Or we could do something based on your dad's suits. Like build a robot," he adds on, continuing to scribble down words.

"Haha," I say dryly, "no. Last time my dad built something like that, it turned out to be a killer robot. I wasn't too fond of my dad's decisions about that thing."

I recall the memory of that time a few years ago, as the expression in my face went blank. It was scary times.

"Okay... well what if-"

"Woah, you snuck your phone in here?" I interrupt, as I grab for the small phone in his opened book bag. His eyes went wide as he saw me reach for the device.

"No! Shhh!"

I ignored him though and turned it on with a small click on the screen.

"I am not supposed to have that here!" he whispered-shouted to me. I rolled my eyes.

"Well no duh. Why bring it though?" I ask while I scroll through his contacts. I found it funny how he seemed to care less I went through his phone.

"In case I get a text from Happy," he says, a little too proudly with a smile. I laugh, which confuses him into a frown.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing. You're too pure." He doesn't say anything since he was staring down at the screen I held.

I changed 'Maria,' on his phone too, '#1 dancer&fighter.'

"Seriously?"

"Yes. You seriously need to update this heap of garbage. Ask my dad if he can make you one of his watches," I say back, ignoring his attitude.

He shifted his eyes to my own watch, that could easily be mistaken for an 'apple' watch. But no, this was more than just basic technology from my father.

"Yeah, okay. Can I just have my phone back?" he asks, impatient with me as usual.

"Wait, what's this?"

I found a file in his phone, filled with videos with people I recognized immediately. Some had Happy, the Avengers, and even my dad. The videos were taken around two years ago.

"Um nothing, please give me my phone back-"

"HA! Poor Happy! This is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Video diaries? You could be the next Logan Paul!" I say, with a huge smile.

I watched some videos, where Peter mainly talked to the screen. It was adorable, all the videos of him and the people I knew and loved.

"Maria, give that back-"

"Not until we make a video," I giggled, as he swang his arms to try and grip on the phone back. I brought it to my chest, covering it though. He frowned, almost in realization he couldn't win.

"Fine. Whatever," he huffs out. I smile in achievement, as the boy goes back to working on the notebook. I open up the camera app and start the video.

"Hello, fellow humans, it is I, Maria!" I yell at the camera, while Peter shook his head. He didn't look up, so he had no clue he was on camera next to me.
