Chemistry class was a little slow today. And no one could disagree with me on that. It felt like the class went on forever, and it all just ticked by. Mr, Cobbwell never seemed to be quiet either. Peter loved it, however, while I wished I could just learn this stuff from Dr. Banner and my dad like I usually do.

"Good, good, good. Now, take compound number one and mix it steadily with compound four. Record your observations."

I mixed the two together at my lab counter, and watched bubbles start to form. In a way, it was kind of interesting. The two things you never expect would go together just happen to fit perfectly until reactions occur and it breaks out.

I turn down to my notebook and write down every thought I had. As I was in the middle of my first sentence, I see a note folded in half slide across my table. It looked ripped off a corner of the paper. I flip my hair up to see to my surprise Flash... well flash me a quick smile. Confused, I open it and read it.

Hey, meet me during lunch after this class. Maybe we can hang out;)
                                                 -Kade A.

My eyes went wide as I reread it four times. I shakingly laid it down next to my notebook, still in shock. I look up to Flash take his seat back next to Kade and whisper something to him. He smiles at Flash, before glancing quickly back at me. I could feel heat power up all over me as I whipped my head back around.

"What was that all about?" the girl next to me, Maggie, whisper. I just shook my head, trying to cover it up.

"Oh- uh nothing," I say, but I still couldn't wipe the heart struck smile on my face, "nothing at all."

After I walked to the lunchroom and told Ashtyn I had to catch up with some homework, I started walking back to the lab. Yes, I did lie to her... I thought she might freak out about it... in a good way obviously. I will tell her later anyway.

I anxiously stepped quickly to the lab, knowing it was right around the corner.

Why did he even want to see me? Did Thor... when he had visited Friday... somehow help? This was crazy, I can't even believe I am doing this. I stopped a second right before the door to the lab. I smiled widely, teeth and all. Will he find my happiness too creepy? I decided to go with it anyway.

I took a quick breath in and opened the door with my eyes closed.

"Hey, Kade, I am so happy-"

I cut off what I was saying when I saw the view in front of me. Kade had Kelly pinned up against the wall, all over her lips and all.

My jaw was wide open when I saw Kade eventually stop his actions and look at me. Now that I could see his full face, lipgloss was smeared everywhere cornering his lips. He didn't even hesitate like this was natural to my reaction.

"Oh, uh sorry," he chuckled nervously, "we're kinda busy." He eyed Kelly, who sent me a glare. I could feel tears swell up in my eyes, not daring to fall through. I look at the ground to hide it.

"I-I-I-" I just left, slamming the door behind me.

I stormed off, keeping my head down. I was loud, from my fast pace, but no one was in the halls.
