Rich x musician!reader pt 2

Rich's pov

I watched as y/n gloomily walked into our house. I took her place in the chair and started to ponder. But then I realized something amazing. Something that would change everything. I looked up at the night sky and sighed contentfully. I made my way upstairs to a sleeping y/n and I chuckled lowly. I creeped into bed, gently spooning y/n slowly drifting off to sleep.

Y/n's pov

I woke up at about 3:45 am to find rich's arms wrapped around me. I snuggle back into him and look into the dark room.

I turn to face rich, gently kiss his forehead and whispered

"Happy anniversary baby" I smiled and hid my face in the crook of his neck while my arms rested over his shoulders and on his back. I felt him pull me in, but he was still asleep. I giggled and yawned. I closed my eyes and fell asleep in the now new position.

9:57 am

Ugh, what year is it? I think to myself. The sensation of being held is now gone, meaning rich had left for work. I sighed and rolled out of bed. I clumsily made my way to my kitchen. I grabbed a pop tart and shoved it in my face and turned around to see one rose and a note from rich.

I chuckled lightly and opened the letter.

Y/n l/n you make me feel happy. Accept my mistake for tonight. I promise it will be made up to you, my love.

I smiled and gently set down the note and found an old vase for the rose and filled it with water. After that I walked back up into my room and "tripped" onto my bed and I fell back asleep.

3:53 pm

I slowly opened my eyes after a long and amazing nap. I then look at my phone an- OH MY GOD I ONLY HAVE 25 MINUTES TO GET READY

I yeet off the bed and to my closet, looking for what I anticipated on wearing. I find a long sleeve lacey black dress and a black tattoo choker. I put on some fishnets and some dark purple platform boots. I put my hair into two space buns and sigh full of relief when I look at the time

4:20 pm (ayee)

I practically jump down the stairs to the front door, grab my keys, and get into my car. 5 minutes till soundcheck? No problemo.

I go about 40 miles over the speed limit out of my neighborhood and into town where I see the restaurant.

4:22 pm

I quickly park in front and try my hardest to not break my ankle as I run into the crowded restaurant.

I get to the stage just in time.

4:24 pm

Some hands me {favorite instrument} (if you play an intrument you blow air into just pretend someone else plays it while you sing. If you play the guitar, ukulele, etc, you're playing it.)
And so the music begins.

I play and play and play until I reach the end of my setlist, which is "I miss you" by blink 182, which happened to be rich and I's song.

I start the first verse and just before the chorus I scan the room to see a familiar face that almost makes me stop singing completely. I see rich standing at a table and I smile as I kept singing. Soon enough, the song was over, and I quickly thank the crowd and the restaurant for having me, and I join rich at the table.

He stands up and hugs me really tight.

"Baby, that was great! I'm so proud of you."

He lets go of me and cups my cheek then pulls me in for a quick kiss. We sit back down and start to order food. I got f/f and rich got a buffalo chicken pizza.

"So rich how was your day?"

"Oof, really busy."

"Really?"

"Yeah.. I had to stop at a jewelry store today and I had no clue what I was doing."

I giggled

"Why would you need to go there?"

"It was an errand I had to run at work."

"Haha ok rich."

Rich dropped his phone on the floor and went to pick it up, but then the unexpected happened. He got on one knee, pulled out a tiny black box with a ring in it.

"Y/n, I might not be able to be with you everyday, but when I do, I want to make it your best moments. We've been through a lot, and I want you to know I'm your biggest fan and I love and care about you. Will you let me be apart of your life forever by marrying me?"

I took a moment to absorb the moment and heard an older woman yell

"JUST SAY YES!"

"y-yes."

Rich stood up and swooped me into a kiss as I heard people cheering and clapping. Rich slipped the ring onto my finger and pulled me close to him. He pulled away from our kiss and we both looked at eachother teary eyed.

Im going to spend the rest of my life with this dork and I can't wait.
