Jared x insomniac!reader

I was sitting on my couch reading my favorite book, listening to my boyfriend rage over his game of fortnite. I suddenly yawn and feel very tired, letting my eyes droop down. I was snapped out of my daze by an angry Jared, who threw his controller and let it hit the wall. He quickly picked it up and started another game.

"Jare, I'm going to bed."

I say and yawn, about to stand up before Jared replied with

"Yeah k babe."

I head to our room and lay down and try to head to sleep. I close my eyes and breath slowly, trying to drift off. You see, I have insomnia, which is the worst.

I must have been like that for a while because I hear a yawning Jared walk into our room. He must think I'm alseep, because he chuckles softly and gets in bed trying not to touch me. Then I lay my head on his chest and look up at him as he takes his glasses off. He looks down at me and then at the clock.

"Jesus y/n. It's 3 am and you haven't fallen asleep?"

I looked down a little, still keeping my chin on his chest.

"Well, I-I'm an insomniac.. Remember?"

Jared smiled and shook his head.

"Whatever you adorable piece of shit. I'm gonna get some sleep."

I watched as Jared closed his eyes and fell asleep. I just sat there, on top of Jared. Next thing you know, it's 6 am and Jared has to wake up for work.

"Y/n?! You're still awake?!"

I chuckled a little bit.

"I guess so."

Jared stood up and kissed me on the forehead.

"Just remember to take care of yourself, ok?"
