"I'll see you after the Meet, Michael!!"
I waved after him as i left his car.

"be safe y/n!! I love you!!"

daw, he's the best. I skipped into the rink with my bag slung over my shoulder, greeting my teammates as I walked in. We had a meet against our rival team, and we were prepared to beat them!!

I strutted into the locker room, and joined in on the excitement that almost replaced the oxygen in the room entirely.

"We're gonna crush em today!!"

"ESPECIALLY with y/n on our side!"

"Guysssss, stoppp"

I took a deep breath as I slipped on my helmet and various pads for my body, I even had to have a few extra just because I'm seriously injury prone.

I tied on my old skates tightly, making sure i couldn't slip out of them at any time. Michael got me these skates for my 9th birthday, and they've been my skates ever since. I've won and lost in these skates, it was like Michael was there the whole time.

My reminiscing ended as i was dragged up by a teammate and i put my hand in the middle of our huddle and we did our cheer.

Michael's voice rung in my head. We had to win.

My team scooted our way out onto the rink, the crowd cheering for us.

"GO Y/NNNNN WOOOOOOOO"

"Will you calm down please?"

"THAT'S MY BABY SISTER!!! IM RELATED TO HER!!!"

"michael!"

I smiled towards them, michael was cheering for me and was completely disreguarding jeremy's requests for him to shut the fuck up.

I stood at the line, next to two people who were very much larger than me. I had muscle on me, but I was skin and bones compared to them. Suddenly, we were off.

I got a head start from the beginning, you never want to be the first one down. First rule of roller derby. I heard a crash behind me. I quickly turn back to see someone from the other team on the floor. Points for us!!

I slowed my speed a little and heard someone come straight behind me. i braked and they rammed into me, so i body checked them to the ground.

"GO Y/N!!!"

At this point, I was in the middle of the crowd, and two of the opposing teams members were already gone.

I heard a HUGE crash come from behind me and a cringeworthy 'ooh' from the crowd. I didn't dare turn my head back. As I made my way around though, I saw two of our members and one of theirs off the rink.

It was only me and three other people against the same. Eight on the rink, what could happen?

Bad, bad things.

Michael had been cheering the whole time, and I really didn't want to disappoint him.

"Y/N, WATCH OUT!!"

I tried to speed up, but then this monster of a human being crashed into me, grabbed me by the waist and THREW ME into the concrete side. My stupid helmet was no help because I felt my body slip into unconsciousness.
