...so this... Im not.... Well this wont be long, its just a fun little thing i wrote down.

Everyone knew Virgil hissed when he was done, absolutely done, with everyones bullshit.
Logan had managed to annoy Virgil with enough facts to make him hiss. There was also their debate that Thomas has put up on youtube, My Negative Thinking, in which Virgil had hissed at the logical trait.
Patton had gotten hissed at, though he was quickly apologized to. He had asked far too many questions about Virgils health that Virgil had snapped and hissed. Of course, Virgil had apologized profusely when Patton started to tear up. The fatherly trait was only worried and Virgil hadn't had a great day. It ended with Virgil and Patton watching movies in the common room, the rest of the othrr traits joining in.
Roman, though, had never gotten Virgil to hiss. Surprising, yes, but it has just simply never happened. They would bicker often, end in shouting matches, insult eachother, but it had never turned into Virgil hissing at Roman. That was until today...
Virgil had very simply had a horrible day so far. It was a matter of time before something set him off. First, he couldn't find his headphones, then when he had the chord was broken, which made no music play. Next was his concealer which had disappeared, thus leaving him with only the eye shadow, and his lurking freckles he dispised in the open. So he tried to opt for staying in the room, which again was ruined when he remembered that today was 'family day', or more was told by Patton banging loudly on his door.
So he went with Patton to the common room, his head ducked down and fully ready to leave at any notice of his hideous freckles. (I love freckles so much, it pains me to write this.)
"So the Emo Nightmare is joining us?" A surprised pompous voice mocked.
"Now, Roman, be nice," Patton chastised, sitting next to Logan who wrapped an arm around the bubbly traits shoulders. (Can't have one without logicality.)
Virgil sat at the end of the couch, curling into himself and pulling out his phone. He would avoid glancing anywhere, hiding his face as much as he could. "At least I won't be the annoying one singing to everything."
Roman made some clearly offended noises, and despite Virgil not looking up, he knew (I'm not tired you are. It totally isn't 1:46 as I'm typing this.) that Roman had a hand over his heart in mock offence. "How dare you talk to Sir Sing-a-lot like that!"
"And sing a lot you do," Virgil muttered, sighing.
They went quiet as Patton shushed them, Logan playing the insufferable and illogical movie of Hercules, which was mostly wrong to begin with. Logan once had to leave during a movie night when this was playing because he kept correcting the movie. ("Hercules was not born a god." "Also the muses say god instead of gods?" "That is definitely not what Hades would look like if he was real.") Lets just say, Roman did not appreciate his darlings being critiqued.
This time around he was quiet, which the fanciful trait enjoyed, belting out the songs to his heart content. This annoyed Virgil, especially when it got to the one song he hated most in the movie.
"If there's a prize for rotten judgement," Roman sang. "I guess i already won that!"
Virgil glanced over to the fanciful trait, who was grinning like a madman. The fact Roman, his crush, was singing this, was not helping his already awful day. Then Roman met his gaze, the grin warming Virgils heart and causing a blush to his cheeks. He only dimly remembered his foundation issue when Roman had stopped singing, the boisterous traits eyes wide.
"Virgil..." Roman started, but said person bolted onto his feet, starting to walk to his room.
"Well, I'm beat. Night guys," Virgil said, yeeting himself up the steps two at a time. (My friendo virtually slapped me for using yeeting here.)
Roman ran after, leaving the smart and bubbly traits cuddling in confusion. He caught Virgil halfway down the hall, grabbing onto the other traits wrist. "Virgil! Would you yield for two seconds?!"
"...it's been two seconds, let go." Virgil replied, tugging uselessly against Romans grip.
"And if I refuse?" Roman frowned at the other trait, tugging him gently towards himself. He had to know if what he saw was really what he saw.
Virgil couldn't hold it back, he hissed, turning to face Roman, who threw his hood back, causing anothrr hiss from his lips. Roman was undeterred, his eyes wide at the sight. "Wow... You have freckles..."
Virgil pulled away with a glare and a third hiss, Roman pouting at him. "Yes, I do Prince not so charming. So just-"
Roman grinned and puts his hands on Virgils cheeks, effectively shutting the darker trait up and causing a dark blush to spread. "No! Theyre amazing! Why do you hide them?!"
"Well I uhh... Umm..." How, exactly" was he supposed to think with Roman so close to him?! Virgil glanced to Romans lips before looking back at Romans eyes, and in a momentary amount of courage, he leaned forward...
Patton popled at the top of the steps, a frown on his features. "Kiddos! Os everything alright?" His voice caused the two to jump away, both with cheeks red. Thats when Patton saw the freckles. He squealed and ran over, smooshing Virgils face. "Awwww, kiddo, you're so cute!"
The blush darkened and lets just say, Virgil didn't get new concealer anytime soon.
