~~~~~~~
I spend the night, yeah, doing ninety in a sixty-five
Ignore the lights 'til I'm by your side
Because when you take this out on me my knees get weak
With that heart of Kryptonite
     He'd do anything, absolutely anything for the other, even when he knows it isn't the same the other way around. Well, he tries to convince himself it is the same, it has to be. He isn't afraid to speed when he gets a text at an ungodly hour, despite the reprecussions that could occur (though he'd been lucky a cop never caught him). Even if the person he loved was a little mean, he didn't mind, not as long as he could get the other to smile again (even if he couldn't see the cruelty in it).
I stole the moon
I made the stars align
And I showed you how to fly
And you made me the bad guy
     He did everything and anything for the other. He would've stolen the moon if possible (though it realy wasn't). He fixed any issues that the other had created, he realigned everything to the way it once was. He brought the other back on their feet and then higher, but....
     He wasn't treated any differently. He was still shut out, shut down and told to leave when everything got better.
You paint the scene, yeah, with the colors of an enemy
All over me for your friends to see
I took just one misstep and now I'm hanging by my feet
Out of sight and out of reach
     He was outcasted by the one who he helped, who he lifted back into place. He was an enemy, an enemy to the other and their friends. He just made a single mistake (it wasn't really a mistake; he had simply made a new friend, someone else to talk to and that hadn't gone well with them). He was thrown away from their group, from who he had been.
I stole the moon
I made the stars align
I showed you how to fly
And you made me the bad guy
I fought for you
I kept you safe at night
I would have risked my life
And you made me the bad guy
    He had helped, so much, and been given nothing in return. Nothing. He had been labelled and kicked out from a friend group he'd known a while. He had fought for them, kept them safe. He had tried to be the best he could. He would have given his life for the other, given anything, but they'd made him a bad guy. Someone he wasn't.
You made me the bad guy
You made me the bad guy
Yeah, you made me the bad guy
Guess I forgot, guess I forgot
History repeats
Once lost and found, once lost and found
We're too blind to see
Just show me how, just show me how the villain was me
     Yeah, the bad guy. He had scoffed at that once, joked about it even, but now... Now, he knew it wasn't him. It had never been him. After all, this had been a constant, a thing that had always happened to him with them. He had been lost when they'd found him, unsure of what to do, who to be. He didn't know thw repercussions of associating himself with who he had. After all, if all he did was try to be a great friend, someone to rely on, how could he be the bad guy?
When I stole the moon
I made the stars align
I showed you how to fly
And you made me the bad guy
When I fought for you
I kept you safe at night
I would have risked my life
And you made me the bad guy
You made me the bad guy
Now do they even know
You made me the bad guy
Ha, got it
You made me the bad guy
     Yes, he had taken what he needed for them. He had made everything better for them. He had risen them to a better position while they had knocked him down. He had fought for them. He kept them safe, secure and he would've risked himself for them. They made him the bad guy...
The bad guy...
But that wasn't him, no. He turned his back on them, turned his back on being the bad guy, the ones who tricked him, lied to him, tried to convince him that he was someone he wasn't.
And he found himself new people, better people who returned his help with help of their own when he needed it and maybe... Maybe history doesn't always repeat because he was sure these people were genuine. And well...
He isn't the bad guy anymore.
Well... I wasn't really sure where this would go.... But uh... Yeah.
And to uh, those who care (wow this sounds mean Im sorry) I just haven't been in a good mood. So yknow... An even worse lack of updates. Or maybe an overabundance. I know i tend to be angsty when i feel bad... Well... Yeah...
