Uh... So 9 is Greysexual which from what i can tell is that midpoint on sexual and asexual attraction. 10 is asexual (hi me) so uh... I guess we'll see if this turns out as both at the same time or not?
TW: mention of panic/panic attacks (not specific), um small m2wntion of sex (wow shock) but also just kinda hinted and not ever stated as sex yknow (ew awkward), oh cringy joke first paragraph be prepared seriously, theres also like a small mention of heated makeout but again nothing specific bc AWKWARD
Tell me if I miss anything

Taking a deep breath, he steadied himself. It was like he was on a tight rope, only instead it's anxious feelings and he's trying not to fall into a panic attack. Wow, grey-t comparison. I hate myself. Anyway...
Patton merely skips into his boyfriends room, wrapping his arms around the male working at his desk. "My prince?" He murmurs, kissing Roman's cheek. Royality is underated okay? Fight me.
"Yes, mi amor?" He smiles at the bubbly trait, not hesitating to put his work on hold for the one he loves. Patton giggles, knowing that's how Roman has always been. Fuck apostrophes, I'm done. No, I'm not who am I kidding?
"I uh... Can I tell you something?" Pattin asks, a little anxiously. He has to take another breath, if he falls into a panic attack and Virgil comes, Virgil might blame Roman (while isn't right, it isn't wrong entirely either.)
Roman nods, standing and turning to face Patton. "Anything, mi amor. I'm here for you." He says softly, taking Pattons hands in his and kissing them.
"You know I love you," Patton states. "I love you, a lot." Roman nods, patiently waiting for Patton to carry on and murmuring a quick 'I love you, too.' "Well, I uh... That um..." Patton has to take another deep breath, feeling himself start to lose control of his breathing. "It uh... I-... I can't..."
Roman frowns and leads Patton to his bed, sitting the now frantic trait down. "Mi amor, breath with me, okay? I love you, no matter what." Roman sets one of Pattons hands on his chest, to feel his (slightly rapid) heart beat and slow breathing. As Patton follows Roman's breathing, tears slip out of his eyes. "Pat, why are you crying?" Roman frets, his free hand going to Pattons cheek and gently wiping away the tears.
"No matter what, right?" Patton sniffs, his hand starting to clutch at Romans shirt like a lifeline. "I-... Roro, I'm greysexual... I uh..."
"Hey, that's okay, love. It really is." Roman leans up and gently presses a kiss to Pattons lips. "I love you still, okay? I always will. I don't need... That with you to love you."
Patton finally lets a watery smile on his lips, tears falling for a much better reason now. "I love you too, Roro!" He tackles Roman into a hug, giggling happily.

---------A while later (maybe a few months, who knows)-------

Roman paces in his room, having an internal debate. He knows what he had told Patton, but now... Well, what if Patton doesn't accept him? Yeah, Patton is nearly the same on the scales and yeah, neither of them mind heated make-outs, but going farther?
Roman felt the bad churning in his stomach when he thought of it and quickly shook the thoughts away. That wouldn't help him, not at all. He ran his hand through his hair, frowning. Patton would still love him, right? He sure hopes so.
Think of the devil, Roman thought as an upbeat knock to the tune of Winnie the Pooh sounds on his door. "Come in, mi amor." He calls, forcing a smile onto his lips.
Patton bounds in happily, a big grin stretched across his lips. "Roro! Wanna make some brownies?" He asks, though freezing when he sees the fake smile on Romans face. "My Prince?"
"Yes, Pattycake?" Roman keeps up the smile, walking over to Patton and wrapping his arms around the fatherly trait who surely noticed by now (it was evident by the increasing frown on the others face.) "Baking with you sounds-"
     "Roro, what's wrong?" Patton interrupts.
"Nothing, mi amor," Roman says softly, feeling a pang at the lie. "Let's go bake."
"No, Roro," Patton frowns, also hurt at the lie. Did Roman not trust him? Is Roman second guessing their relationship now? That one stung a lot. Patton shut down his thoughts.
"...Pat..." Roman says softly. "I'm asexual, Pat. I know... I know what I said to you and what you've told me, but that hasn't made me less nervous because... Because you still have the possibility and-"
"Roro, shush," Patton says firmly. "I love you. No matter what. Whether you want anything or not, whether you stop loving me or not, okay? I love you and I want you to tell me your boundaries, now. Okay?"
Roman nods, smiling and gently kissing Patton once more like it had been when Patton had told him. "Everything we have now is okay, love. I just... I can't..."
"I know, we won't. I will not ever make you, okay?" With a nod from Roman, Patton kisses him again, smiling. And yeah, maybe it's a little unsure at first, but they wouldn't have it any other way.

Idk I like the idea of Roman being ace. Like romance doesn't always mean sex and I like portraying that a lot if that isn't obvious.
