Vivian flits around the corner, hiding behind some lockers in hope those stupid girls who act like the plastic from means girls would leave her alone. Yes, she's watched mean girls, don't judge her. However, her heart falls as she hears heels click down and towards her (well likely more for the lockers, but her anxiety says otherwise.) Tensing her body, she is extremely in shock to see the schools sweetheart round the corner and bump into her.
"Oh gosh, are you okay?" Patty, well Patricia Hart, exclaims. "I didn't hurt you, right kiddo?"
"'M fine," Vivian mutters, shrugging her shoulders. The other girls were who knows where, she rationalized. "Really."
"I still feel bad," Patty says, rocking on her heels, literally. How she didn't fall will forever elude Vivian. "Vivian, right? You have a cool jacket!"
Vivian hides her face in her hood, flushing past her foundation. "Oh uh... Thanks..."
"You did it yourself right?" Patty giggles at the other girls clear flustered state. "Your style is so unique!"
Speechless, Vivian only sends Patty a small shy smile. "Uh... Thanks..."
Patty grins. "Would you like to join me and my friends for lunch?"
Vivian hesitates, clearly thinking. After all, if she went into the cafeteria those mean girl wanna bes would probably be there, but she's also extremely happy that her crush (which she deems shallow as this is really the first time she's talked to Patty) invited her. "Uh... Sure, yeah. That'd be cool..."
Patty cheers cutely and drags Vivian along, somehow going quite fast in those heels of hers. She plops down at a table in the back, Vivian basically forced to sit next to her.
"Patty, I didn't know you were bringing the emo nightmare with you," One of her friends speaks up, causing Vivian to sneer at her.
"And I didn't know you were gonna be here, princess," Vivian spats back.
"Now now, kiddos, play nice," Patty frowns at the both of them then turns to her much more formal friend. "Louise, are you gonna say hi?"
"Going to," Louise corrects, setting down her book about Astrophysics. "Salutations, as I am sure you know, my name is Louise." She holds out her hand to Vivian.
Vivian hesitantly shakes it. "Vivian," she mutters back.
"And I," The more flambouyant of the bunch stands only to bow. "Am Rowena!"
"I know," Vivian huffs. "I work backstage in the crew for all our shows which you always get the lead role of." She rolls her eyes at the prideful grin that floats across Rowena's face. "I blinded you during one of them."
The pure shock in Rowena's face was enough to make Vivian start laughing into her hand. "'M kidding, Princess. I stopped the guy that was doing that actually." She was definitely not going to add how she almost shoved the guy off the platform (on accident.)
"Oh... Well, thank you, then," Rowena sits back down, glancing out Louise's shoulder with a huff.
Patty turns to Vivian, grinning. "Awww, that's amazing of you, Vivi!" Patty squeals, hugging Vivian excitedly.
Mouthing the nickname confusedly, Vivian slowly returns the embrace, her heart speeding up. At this rate her (shallow) crush might become a full blown like. And when Patty pulls away, eyes sparkling, Vivian couldn't find it in herself to be mad.
