Maybe if he'd been smarter when he joined his stupid friend to 'adventure', he would not have ended up in such a ridiculous predicament. He would not have ended up standing in a (quite strange) circle of bluebells, hearing bells ring around him and knowing this certainly should not be happening. Not from flowers that aren't even actually bells!
He tries to step back, out of the ring, as the chimes sound from seemingly everywhere. He has to get back, surely Roman is worried by now? He sure hopes so, maybe then Roman could save him since he certainly gets stopped by something.
Something solid. Logan whirls around, a gasp leaving his lips as he sees the man in front of him (the one he believes he bumped into.) Tight black clothing with accents of purple and silver at certain spots made the mans pale skin look translucent, but what caught Logan's attention was his purple eyes. He quickly put more space between the two of them, dropping his flashlight, which is flickering extremely inconsistantly. Logan dismisses that thought, he definitely has something else to worry about. Specifically the handsome male who is making remember just how homosexual he is.
The man takes steps in a predatory circle around Logan, his deep purple eyes unsettlingly looking at him as if he's cattle. Logan forces himself to stand up straight and put back on his usual look. "Who are you?" Logan asks, surprised by how steady he sounds.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" Came the mans voice, sounding sweet and soft. Logan wasn't as oblivious as his ridiculous friend though. He heard the sharp edge, the same that his acquaintance Dolos has. "After all, you're in my world now." He gestures around and sure enough past the circle seemed more hazy.
Logan clenches his hands onto fists at his sides, watching the purple eyed man more now. He has to be smart, and he is, surely. So what had he learned about flowers in thag book he'd read? Blue bells...
No, Logan thinks. That's a myth. Surely, I'm not... "Are you a Faerie?"
A flash of sharp teeth follows the question, the man clapping with a smirk. "Bravo, we have a handsome winner."
"So... Wait what?" Logan shakes his head, choosing instead to ignore the compliment. "Alright... I can just leave then..." And he does, go to at least.
The tall, dark and handsome Faerie stops him, a smooth honeyed chuckle leaving his lips. "Now now, you haven't even stayed to hear an offer... I'm sorry, I'm afraid I didn't get your name."
Logan knows this trick, he wouldn't be fooled. "I am not going to give you my name.." He needs to think fast, he has to tell him something. "But you may call me... Logic."
This got him a heartier laugh, purple eyes filling with amusement. "You're smart, I think I'm gonna like you."
"It's 'going to'," Logan corrects automatically. "What can I call you?"
"Call me V," 'V' replies, clearly enjoying his talk. They haven't even gotten to the Faeries best part. "Now, I would definitely love to make a deal with you."
"A deal?" Logan questions, racking his memory. "What kind of deal?"
"Nothing big," V goes back to circling Logan at a distance. "Are you struggling with anything?"
Logan hesitates, he's in college and he has years ahead of him when going into high sciences, yet he still replies with, "No."
V clicks his tongue. "Now now, lets be honest here, Logic. You telling me your problems isn't in our word games."
"I'd say it is," Unsure why, he hesitates again. "I... Am in college. I will be for some time and I believe that it will leave me with quite a debt."
"You want money then," V states, not a question. "For your remaining years, years you've done, and extra for backup, I'll guess."
Logan stares for a good second, deciding that maybe he shouldn't underestimate V anymore. "Yes, that would be correct."
"For any cost?" V sends a grin at Logan, taking the other off guard with the charm it possessed.
"No," Logan still replies, not letting the other change his judgement. This sparks more amusement and intrigue into the Fae. "For a reasonable price, though."
"Reasonable," Virgil chuckles. "How does a year sound? A year in my home and you must listen to me."
"Be your servant for a year?" Logan asks, thinking it over.
"Yes," V sees the histance in Logans eyes. "There will still be a fail safe. Denying a request 3 times in succession will cancel the deal."
Logan couldn't see an issue at this point. A year and he'd be set for his future. He straightened his back and stared V in the eyes. "If I accept now, will we have to leave immediately?"
"We can meet up again tomorrow if you must get something," V waves it off. "Otherwise, yes."
"Then I will be back tomorrow," Logan simply states, practically daring V to say otherwise or go against it.
Another charming grin sent his way. "Then I shall see you tomorrow, Logic." And V was gone, simply as if he had not existed in the first place.
