It was a repetitive thing I did, I run away from my problems. I run until I feel my problems can't catch up with me anymore, I've left them in my dust. But Ethan Dolan, was faster than me, so was his brother.
I ran to my car, started it and drove, I drove for hours. I ended up going back to my shitty apartment.
I walked through the door to see the awful mess of my house, gone. The floor was visible and the trash had been takin out. The beer and whiskey bottles were gathered up into a trash bag and sat by the door.
Who was in my house?
I grabbed the closest thing to me, an empty wine bottle I had kept because it was to expensive to just throw out. I walked slowly into my tiny room to see Ethan standing looking out of the window. I froze.
He turned around.
"Remi," he breathed
He ran across the room and hugged me so tight I thought I was gong to suffocate. I dropped the expensive wine bottle. Glass shattered.
He stepped away from me. Looked at me with tears in his eyes, shaking his head no.
"E-Ethan why are you here?" I asked in almost a whisper
"Remi I've been looking for you since I left you on the sidewalk, everyone has," He said "then I found your apartment unlocked, I walked in and see the place trashed with empty alcohol bottles, I thought I was in the wrong apartment until I found a picture of us hanging on the wall," tears rolled down his beautiful face
The picture I had shattered by punching it out of heartbreak. He seen it.
"Remi I seen you wasted dancing on a bar, then you didn't even recognize me, when you told me how heart broken you were I knew I had to find you," his voice cracked
All I could do was stand. Frozen. In fear, I never wanted anyone to see me like this.
"Remi, say something," he pleaded
"Y-you left me, d-didn't y-you want me g-gone?" I studdered over my tears
Sadness shot over his face.
"Remi I'm in love with you, I was pissed I'm so fucking sorry, I never meant any of that," he cried
"You can't just waltz back into my life Ethan, that goes for your brother too, do you have any idea how much fucking pain I'm in, all I do is drink, drink, drink, I'm a college dropout and I live in a shit apartment I can barley afford, you broke me to the point I let my whole life shatter, so don't think I'm gonna fall back into your arms like your my fucking Prince Charming!" I yelled
He looked at me with tears rolling down his face. I broke him and he broke me. We are both Broken.
