Arielle's PoV
The fact that Noah had been here for over an hour and was refusing to leave until I gave him a reasonable answer as to why I don't like him, was getting on my nerves.
"Will you just shut up?" I looked over at the brunette boy who was mumbling words to himself. Probably things about me but I didn't care. All I wanted was some peace and quiet from him.
"How about..." He started, placing a finger on his chin whilst making a humming noise as if he was thinking of what to say.
"No." He sent me a smile.
I gave him a glare, getting up from the sofa.
"Where are you going?" He jumped up after me.
"To shower." I turned to look at him.
"Oooo." He wiggled his eyebrows.
"Perv." I rolled my eyes stomping off up to my room.
"I expect you gone by the time I'm done." I shouted down at him.I swear to god, if he's not gone before I'm out of the shower, I'm getting him done for harassment.
I walked into my bedroom, shutting the door behind me and grabbing my pink towel from the coat hanger. I liked to take my time in the shower, mainly because I always shave. Girls always go on about how they can't be bothered to shave but it's somehow become my shower routine. If I don't do it, I feel strange.
Making my way into the shower, I locked the door behind me, opening up the door. This bedroom was once my mum and dads, hence why I have an ensuite, but Dad gave it to me when mum died. It was a very kind gesture. I hated sharing bathrooms. Even if it was just my dad and I here.
Just as I got in the shower, there was a faint knock on the door.
"Ayo Arielle!" My name was called. I rolled my eyes, turning the shower off so I could hear this asshole. Hopefully he's going to tell me he's leaving now.
"What?" I called back. How did he even know which room was mine?
"Someone called George is on the phone." He spoke. That would be my brother.
"Why are you answering our home phone?" I asked.
"It was ringing so why not?" He questioned. Um, privacy maybe?
"Tell him I'll ring him back." I groaned.
"Now get the hell out of our house!" I turned the shower back on, allowing the hot water to run down my naked body. After washing my hair, body and shaving. I got myself out, wrapping the towel around my petite body. Getting out of the shower was thing I hated the most. It was so cold.
I grabbed my dirty clothes from the floor and walked back out into my bedroom, tossing them into the wash basket. Note to self, do the washing later.
I then dug through my wardrobe, pulling out some grey leggings and an oversized red woolly sweater. That was sure to keep me warm today. I didn't have any plans to go anywhere so I should be fine.Drying off my body, I pulled up my clean pair of underwear before slipping on my leggings. Just as I was about to put on my bra, the door came flying open. I was quick to grab my boobs, reaching for my towel and covering them. I screamed loudly as Noah stood there, his eyes wide.
"Get out!" I screeched. How dare he?! Knocking is a thing.
"Sorry." He breathed out slamming my door. Are you kidding me? My step brother almost saw my boobs. I need to get a lock on my bedroom door. Even better, he should fucking leave. Why is he still here?I finished getting changed, towel drying my hair and hanging it up to dry. I don't even want to leave this bedroom but I'm so thirsty.
I licked my dry lips, brushing my hair out of my face before opening the door. I jumped at the sight of Noah. He fell back slightly, due to the fact that he was leaning up against the door until I opened it.
"What are you doing?" I asked through gritted teeth. I was so angry at him.
"I was just coming to tell you that I was leaving." He stood up straight, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Good. Leave." I pushed past him, running off down the stairs.
"Arielle, Wait!" He followed me, gripping my arm as we hit the bottom of the stairs. I stopped in my tracks, yanking my arm out of his grip and giving him an intense stare.
"I said leave." I pointed to the front door.
"I didn't mean to walk in on you like that. I'm sorry." He apologised.
"Leave!" I grabbed the back of his shoulders, forcefully shoving him towards the front door and opening it.
"Bye Noah." I frowned, pushing him out and shutting the door.Asshole.
I turned around, pressing my back up against the door and letting out a breath. There's no way in hell I can live with him. I can barely stand a couple of hours.
I shook the thought of Noah out of my head and made my way to the kitchen where I poured myself a glass of water, chugging it back.
As I did so, the sight of someone in our back garden made me jump.
"For fuck sake Jason." I held a hand over my heart. He gave me a smile, opening the door and stepping in.
"Will you stop doing that? You could just ring the doorbell." I pointed to the front door.
"I was going to until I saw you kicking hotstuff out. What happened?" He asked.
"He wouldn't leave when I told him to." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Is that it?" He quirked his eyebrow.
"And he almost saw me naked. If I didn't have fast reflexes, he sure as heck would have seen a pair of tits." I rolled my eyes, placing my glass in the dishwasher.
"How?" He asked.
"I was getting changed and he just barged into my room. I really don't like him Jay." I shook my head.
"He drives me insane." I groaned.
"What was he doing here in the first place?" He asked.
"I was pissed off at my dad and he left for work this morning, texting Noah to come and check up on me. I mean, I'm 20 years old. I can take care of myself." I ran my hands over my face. I was very frustrated.
"You were pissed and didn't call for my help? Ouch." Jason faked a whimper.
"It was too much in the moment." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Turns out, Dad and Kelly have already spoken about moving in with each other. It'll be around New Years." I mumbled.
"Woah, what? Hasn't he only just met the chick?" He asked.
"That's what I thought but apparently he's been seeing her for about 6 months. He's really serious about this, Jay." I sighed.
"Shit." He ran a hand through his hair.
"You can't leave this place. It's too special." He shook his head.
"Try telling that to my father." I grumbled before heading off back upstairs, Jason following.I'm glad I had Jason here to get everything off my chest. It's so horrible not having someone there, you know?
