Arielle's PoV

3 months had past. Christmas was over and we had turned a chapter into the new year.
Ever since that kiss, Noah and I have tried to avoid each other at all costs. We've hardly spoken and I didn't know what to think of that.

Today we were beginning to move into our new house with Kelly. I was so not excited about this. I didn't want to leave this house. It has all my last memories of my mum in it.

I sniffed as I stacked the last box into my car. Dad had already taken his car over there with some boxes so I was left to get the rest. I can't believe that this was it.

I walked back into the, now empty, house and looked around. I hated this. It didn't feel like home anymore. We no longer had all the pictures up on the wall or the vases of flowers that sat on the coffee table. It was completely empty. I hope the next people that get this house treat it well.
Running around the house, I made sure that we had everything, not accidentally leaving something behind.

Just as I was about to lock up the house, a voice from behind startled me.
"Arielle?" I turned on my heel to see Jason.
"Jason!" I breathed out, running up to him and pulling him in for a hug.
"So you really weren't joking when you said today was your moving day?" He pulled back, looking at me.
"Not at all." I pouted. Jason hated this as much as me.
"Do you need any help?" He asked, looking at all the boxes stacked up in my car.
"Please." I nodded my head. I could really use Jason's help once we get to the new house. Plus, it would give him a chance to kind of see it. I know he said that he'd want a house tour but this'll have to do.

Once we strapped ourselves in, I started the journey to our new home. I wasn't excited in the slightest. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a really nice spacious house but living under the same roof as my stepbrother that I kissed 3 months ago, isn't going to be fun.

"Have you spoken to Jude lately?" Jason asked.
"No." I shook my head.
Jude and I had met up finally last month and let's just say, it didn't go well. We had ice cream, which was nice but then he was so persistent that we go back to his. I didn't think anything of it but then he tried it on with me and wouldn't take no as an answer. That was when I rang Jason to come and get me. That's also how Jason found out about Jude.
"Are you going to speak to him?" He asked.
"Nope." I sighed. I didn't want anything to do with someone if all they wanted from me was sex. I've had sex with only one person before, my ex boyfriend. I would never have it with someone that I wasn't 100% sure with.
"Fair enough." He shrugged his shoulders, putting on the radio.

Jay and I spent the rest of the ride there, singing along to the soundtrack of high school musical. It's what we like to do, don't judge.

As we pulled up outside the house, my dad, Kelly and Noah were all out front, helping take in the boxes from Noah's and my dads car. There's so much crap to sort out. Ugh.
"You ready for this?" Jason asked me as I switched off the engine, taking my seatbelt off.
"Not at all." I shook my head. It was finally happening. I was going to be living under the same roof as my stepbrother and I hated it.
We got out of the car, heading to the back car door. I had literally piled shit in my car. There were boxes all over the place. Hopefully no fragile things had smashed... that would be the worst.

I handed Jason a box whilst I took another, walking down the driveway.
"Hello, love." Kelly smiled at me.
"Hi." I gave a small glance over to Noah who was trying desperately not to look at me. I could see it on his face.
"Your Dad has just taken a box in." Kelly said to which I nodded.
"I'll go take my bits up to my room." And with that, I gestured for Jason to follow me and we walked into the house, walking past my dad on the way in.
"Ahhh the evil twins are back at it again." My Dad snickered.
"Good morning, Michael." Jason rolled his eyes at my dad. I fought back a laugh as we wandered up the stairs.

There were four bedrooms up here. One for me, one for Noah, one for our parents and one for a guest. I didn't really see the point in a guest room seeing as no one would really ever come round but ok...

My bedroom was located beside the bathroom at the end of the hallway.
"Which one is Noah's?" Jason whispered.
"That one." I nodded my head towards the room opposite mine.
"Is yours the biggest?" He asked as I opened up the door, a gush of cold air hitting our faces.
"Noah and I have the same sized rooms so that there were no arguments." I shrugged my shoulders, placing the box down to the floor.
The only thing in the bedroom so far was my bed which Dad had brought over yesterday to set up. I guess I was kind of grateful for that.

After running back and forth, we had finally brought every box in, my room being full of them. Maybe I should have gone through shit before leaving the old house.
"I'm so worn out." Jason groaned, falling to my mattress with a huff. Note to self, put the bedding on it later.
"Same." I laid down beside him, looking around at the plain walls.
"I really want to paint this soon." I spoke. White is such a boring colour.
"There's no way I'm helping you with that. I hate painting." Jason looked at me.
"I know." I nodded. I'll just have to do it by myself one day.
"When do you go back to work?" He asked.
"Next week. Gives me enough time to sort everything out." I sat up, my eyes scanning the boxes again.
"Shall we start?" I looked down at my best friend.
"Who said I was helping put everything away? I'm just here for moral support." He quirked an eyebrow.
"You're an ass." I giggled, standing up from my bed.
"A sexy ass though." He sat up, watching me.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night." I shrugged my shoulders, ripping open the first box.
