I hate you.

Arielle's PoV

"Will you slow down." Noah attempted to catch up with me as I stormed out of the police station. I just had to spend a fucking fortune on getting him out of that place.
"Slow down?! Are you kidding me?!" I raised my voice, stopping in my tracks and looking at the boy. His eyes were red and his hand was still covered in blood. God knows what he had done.
"I spent $500 to bail you out just then!" I continued to shout at him.
"You're going to get in that car, you're going to tell me what you did and then we are going home! Ok?" I didn't notice how much attention I had drawn to us.
"Ok." He nodded his head, looking down at the floor sadly. I felt quite bad for a second but then I remembered why we were here in the first place.
"Good." I turned on my heel, marching off to my car.

Once we were both inside, I looked at Noah who was wincing as he pulled his seatbelt around him. His hand must be hurting him.
"What did you do?" My voice was quiet.
"You don't want to know." He shook his head.
"Oh But I do. I didn't come all this way for nothing. Explain." I demanded. We weren't going to leave until he told me. He gave me a look, one that said he was guilty. He had done something bad. Yeah, well no shit. We're in the car park of a police station, of course he's done something bad, Arielle.
"I did some drugs, ok?" He licked his dry lips. My eyes went wide. Woah...
"What kind?" I asked.
"Weed." He responded. I mean, it could be worse.
"Is that it?" I asked, scanning my eyes over his face. That would explain the red eyes.
"Yes, I promise." He nodded his head frantically. What are we going to tell our parents? He's lucky that I answered that phone call and didn't leave it for them to hear later.
"And the hand?" I asked, quirking an eyebrow.
"I got into a fight, went to punch some guy but missed and my hand went straight through someone's car window." He sighed. What an idiot.
"Do I want to know why you were fighting?" I asked.
"No. I can't tell you." He shook his head.
I let out a small sigh, at least he told me the worst.

Without saying anything else, I pulled my seatbelt around my body and strapped myself in before starting the journey home. It was silent for a few minutes until Noah piped up.
"You can't tell our parents, ok?" He almost sounded like he was begging.
"It's going to be hard to hide it from them plus, if it was me in your position, you'd tell them just to get me in trouble." I spoke.
"Yes, yes I would." He snickered.
"I hate you." I growled.
"Yeah, well I love you." He gave a sarcastic remark, rolling his eyes.
"But seriously, I wouldn't tell them. Not something this big." He shook his head.
"You're just lucky that they weren't home to hear that." I said.
"So you won't tell them?" He asked.
"No." I sighed. I just couldn't even be bothered to. The drama would be too intense and gosh, no. I just couldn't.
"But you have to find $500 soon and pay me back." I gave him a stern look.
"Deal." He nodded his head.
"Thank you." A small smile creeped up onto his face.
"Mhm." I mumbled, indicating left.

"I'm only doing this because I don't trust that you will do it properly. You'll probably infect it." I scrunched my nose up as I examined Noah's bloody hand.
We were up in the bathroom, the first aid kit in the sink. It wasn't a very big bathroom.
"Just don't do anything to sting it. It hurts." He winced as I pulled out a shard of glass with tweezers. You would have thought that the nurses at the station would have cleaned him up, but no.

"How hard did you punch this window?" I asked.
"Pretty hard." He grinned as I pulled another one out. Goodness me, he better be done and clean by the time our parents get home in about an hour. Well, Kelly gets home before my dad but still.
"Hmm." I hummed.
"Arielle-" Noah started. I stopped picking at the glass and looked up at him.
"I'm sorry for always being a prick. You don't deserve it." He shook his head.
"I'm going to be honest with you here, ok?" He asked to which I nodded.
"I like you, I really do and that kiss... it meant something. Well to me it did, I don't know about you but anyway, I'm getting off track." My heart fluttered at his words. Does he like like me or just like me?
"This guy who I got in a fight with, he was supposed to be my best friend. I told him about you and that I was really starting to feel things but he told me that I was stupid and that it was wrong. Believe me, I know how wrong it is but I can't help these feelings. After that kiss, that's when I knew and that's why I had to make myself distant. I tried to get over you but-" he continued to ramble but I cut him off as my lips crashed onto his. I didn't know what I was doing but again, it made me feel something. The spark was there and it shouldn't be. Noah and I were so wrong for each other but that made it feel so right.

I pulled back from the kiss, my forehead resting on his own.
"I like you too." My voice was barely a whisper. How we could suddenly go from hating each other's guts to admitting that we liked each other, I don't know. It's a mystery that's unsolvable.

I watched as a smile made its way onto Noah's face and he used his good hand to tuck a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"What are we going to do, love?" His voice was soft.
"I don't know." I shook my head.
"We can discuss this later, just let me finish cleaning you up before your mum gets back." I then turned my attention back to his hand.

I had just kissed Noah again... that can't be good.
